A Different Question

Hey, I just downloaded EB 1.0 and it's great, I love how pretty much everything is new (and I've learned to accept the loading times, lol). However, I don't have the newest comp...3 years old now, if I recall, and although the new campaign map is great, the water effects seem to drop my FPS alot. I'm not really that concerned with moving water, so just wondering if there is any way to change the water back to the way it looked in Vanilla? Thanks.

The water does nothing to drop your FPS. The reason why the game runs slower is because of the massive size of the EB script.

This is a common question. The new water texture is exactly the same resolution as the old vanilla texture and so doesn't affect performance.

Well, I find people who use "lol" all the time very annoying. If something really was funny, then okay, but otherwise, it´s just annyoing.
Example of what I find annoying:
"I need help with my new Macedon campaign lol."
"Yeah, phalanxes rocks lol."
"Can someone tell me how to post screenshots lol?"
I havn´t meet many here, but the official CA forums (the .commie) seems to be crawling with them. No disrespect to Newcomer though, it´s just seems wierd to laugh out loud at such a thing that this topic is about.

When used correctly I have no problem, the absurdity of using "lol" to end a sentence is just too much for my eyes to handle. If you are going to use it as acronym then at least use it within its proper context. Is that too much to ask? Its used to express a certain emotion, not to end a sentence ... nato
