Kingdoms installation

I think this is the right place to post.

Well, I've been having problems installing M2TW: Kingdoms. I looked around for some solutions, and eventually stumbled across SEGA's advice here:

However, I've tried all this (including what this forum says on the matter), a process which has forced me to stay awake for 7 more hours than I intended to, but now a new error has cropped up, which reads:

Feature Transfer Error

Feature: Packs
Component: packs
File: D:\crusades\main\packs\data.pack
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

Any help would be appreciated.
