    Default When all is done

Does anyone know what happens at the end of the game. I currently have 85provs and am wondering if it worth finishing. Is it a crappy 10 sec looped clip like in RTW, i hope not. Can you continue playing till the end date, wiping out remerging factions as they come. what happens if im half way through a campaign when the end date comes.
Sorry if these are newb questions, if anyone had any screen shots i'd love to see them.

You can play through to the end date, but usually (especially if you start in Early) you will have conquered everyone by then. You also get a "lesser victory" option when you have 60% of the provinces, as well (but you have passed this already).

As for what happens, well I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise .... let's just say victory is its own reward

As far as I remember, the victory screen isn't graphically impressive (wouldn't fit with the overall look of the game anyway) but in any case better than the RTW popup (which isn't difficult...). But I do recall that it was very atmospheric. And it's a full-screen thing, not a tiny popup.

Can't comment on the comparison to the RTW ending, having never seen it, but will agree with the description offered by my learned friend...

If you dont have all the lands but the majority, you get a message claiming that although not completing the game in full, you have the largest empire.

    How do I know this?
