Where would I find them in America? Would they be available anywhere?
I was thinking that a good way to learn Deutsch comprehension would be to take some sappy Disney cartoons that I have seen, and view them in Deutsch. :P lol
Anyone know?

If you're willing to shell out, www.amazon.de . They've definitely got German Bambi.

Keep in mind regional codes on DVDs, you may get some trouble with german DVDs although that can be circumvented I hear, not sure whether that's legal though.

That's exactly one of the problems with region encodings... things like this actually turn people to illegal downloads.Originally Posted by Husar

You could, of course, try ebay. amazon.de should send dvds to the US as well, but yes, the shipping rates might prove prohibitive.
There's a German internet platform (www.onlinerecording.com, I think) that allows you to "tape" tv shows, newscasts and the likes and then download them as avi-file. Files are encrypted so that you can't share them without your user credentials or something.
Doesn't necessarily give you Disney-movies, but still a possibility.
Or: You take a vacation in Germany, Switzerland or Austria and stock up on a bunch of movies and take them home with you. ;-)
