Thread: Family tree gone wrong

    Default Family tree gone wrong

On my Portugal campaign I had my faction leader and faction heir die on the same turn which for the most part was no big deal. The next guy down the line became the faction leader. But when I bring up my family tree it lists King William and Matilda who are two dead english people. Is there anyway to reset the tree?

    thanks,

When the third guy became King, was he an actual family member or just a general? In other words, was he in the family tree when the previous King/Prince were alive? If not, i'm guessing you ran into some sort of bug that happens when a non-family member general instantly becomes the King.

Maybe you married into the English royal family?

I have the same thing as Russia - my King died and the Venetian prince acquired by my princess inherited the throne. My family tree disappeared to be left with a dead Doge and his equally dead missus. My guess is that its a bug.
