Thread: Swêbōz CTD

    Default Swêbōz CTD

    Hello,

I'm running a Swêbōz campaign on EB 1.0 using RomeTW-BI.exe. It consequently crashes right after my having fought a certain battle against the Getai, that is before returning to the campaign map. I have installed all the permanent fixes.

I'm attacking the Getai faction leader and the armies surrounding him. That makes for two of my armies against (three or) four of his.

Is there anything I can do to get past this CTD?

Thanks a lot in advance for any relevant advice!

Please tell me it is not the revenge of the reinforcement CTDs.

Just a curious question, have you been able to get past the CTD without activating the script? And what happens if you use auto-calc with the script on?

Try the trait nerf and the other temporary fixes.

Thanks for the replies so far. From what I've read about it, it looks a lot like the infamous 'Reinforcement CTD'.

I haven't tried without the script yet. After fighting the same large battle thrice in a row I was kind of done with it for a while. I'll give it a try though, as well as the trait-nerf fix, although I'm afraid that migth not be very relevant. The question "what happens if you use auto-calc with the script on?" is posed in a language that is as of yet beyond my specialism, how do I do this?

Post-battle crashes are often due to trait triggers. In particular, the reinforcement CTD was due to some (yes, more than one, actually).

"Auto-calc with the script on" means: Start the script. Start the battle but don't go to the battlefield, but autoresolve it instead.
