But sometimes I have units that have an officer and the exact same unit without an officer, at the start of a battle so there's no chance that a one in the other unit was killed. They had a xp difference so I though that had something to do with it.

Then they weren't the same unit. Was one a merc version by any chance? A unit automatically gets the officers defined in its edu entry regardless of any other factors.

They were both units of Liby-Phoenician Infantry.

If the two units were of exactly the same kind, then there´s no way one had an officer and one didn´t. Are you sure you´re captain weren´t in that unit?

I don't come here a lot any more. You know why? Because you suck. That's right, I'm talking to you. Your annoying attitude, bad grammar, illogical arguments, false beliefs and pathetic attempts at humour have driven me and many other nice people from this forum. You should feel ashamed. Report here at once to recieve your punishment. Scumbag.
That would be it. If neither unit has officers, but one was the captain's unit then that would account for it. Good thinking Appo.

Well, the army was led by a general, but maybe I have made a mistake.
