    Unhappy Rebels

I am currently playing a long campaign as Poland, VH/VH, vanilla 1.3. One of my captain led stacks has just turned rebel; fair enough, I thought, if they'd rather die by my sword than the enemy's I'd be only too happy to oblige.

However, when I tried to order my king to attack the rebels, the cursor displays the X symbol it normally gives when you try to send an agent somewhere impossible to get to, and refuses to let me attack the army. So I now have a tiny army of rebels permanently blocking one of my roads and shutting down trade, and there seems to be nothing I can do about it.

I seem to recall reading that this is a known bug; if so, is there any workaround for it and any way of getting rid of the rebel army? Also, does anyone know what causes it, so I can stop it happening again?

move right close to the rebel stack then then attack it .. this bug occurs sometimes on my campaigns as well...helps to zoom in so you can move as close as possible then you should be able to engage...

    Good Luck

I saved and reloaded the game, and this also seems to have fixed the problem, I can attack them fine now.

    Thanks for the help.

The same thing happened to me, only i was playing France trying to take Bordeux and two of my largest armies turned on me, in the end a father killed his own son... (adopted son, that is)
