Just saying that some mafiosi (I remember one, especially... kept analysing his own kills - makaikhaan, perhaps?) have done that, and that we shouldn't rule it out. It strikes me that Kukrikhan is smart enough to try to blend that way.

I think you're referring to Curio.

Anyway, Kukri, IIRC, has never been mafia, so we unfortunately have nothing to base it off of. His style as townie, I think, is to analyze the writeups more than the average person and go after the lurkers. I don't really think Kukri doing this is too out of the ordinary for him.

Well, it sort of had a little to do with his explanation. It was a long post, I noticed it, looked who wrote it, and randomly chose to vote for them.

I must say though, that trying to work out who or what is actually causing each murder is, from my perspective, a little pointless - yes, we can try and work out how many more killers we have to depose of, but beyond that they tell us nothing that can be of any use in the process of finding those targets. If they did, then mafia games probably would be over within a couple of minutes of the first night phase being over.

There is no obvious suspects at this stage, the write up gives little clues to who is the baddies, we'll just have to wait and see then maybe things will clear up a bit.

Emperor Makaikhaan convened the castle servants and guards in the morning. Disturbing events had taken place during the night; Lord Winter had been found dead in a hall, while EliteFerret and Northnovas were found deceased in their respective rooms.

Makaikhaan informed the castle that they were to determine who was the spirit in disguise, while he moderated. After a day of discussion, there was finally someone to be lynched; Ibn-Khaldun was selected to be killed. Ibn-Khaldun was presented to the Emperor, his wrists bound and forced to kneel. Makaikhaan was handed a sword by a nearby servant.

"Ibn-Khaldun, I hereby sentence you to your death!" Makaikhaan boomed. With one quick, downward swing, he brought the sword down upon Ibn-Khaldun's head, severing it quickly and cleanly. "Clean this up!" he ordered. And with that, Makaikhaan turned on a heel and headed back to his bed chamber for the night.
