Neverwinter Mafia - A Jokers Curse
Introduction
In the small village of Neverwinter a bustling trade community had flourished. Fishmongers and pelt traders, soothsayers and hybrid makers, poets and arms dealers, merchants and book yielders. All of these people had their own little lives, their own little stories, their own little way of getting by. The Towns guard would chant Lord Neverwinter's name and sing a song or two, all races could mix and delight in each other’s company and together they could help each other out. But that was soon to change when the paranoid came over the town...
It all began when just a year from now a cloud was sighted in the sky, it was shaped like a jokers hat, coloured crimson lying sleepy and low by Neverwinter Castle. After several months as it continued to cascade down on the Castle itself rumour has spread like venom, ‘It must be a sign for things to come’ ‘it’s red, does that mean the devil has arrived at our steps?’ ‘We’ve all displeased the Gods, now we will pay’
Despite the mad rumour the citizens had convinced themselves was true, it made its way to Lord Neverwinter. It was on the very morning message had got to him that the cloud exploded, disappeared, nothing was left. Soon the Town forgot all about the nonsense they had believe not so long ago and shrugged the incidence off. It was then that mortality rates rocketed, for a small town, deaths had reached double figures daily, with the common symptoms being laughter, any who laughed choked on their own pleasure and the town struggled to relate this incidence to the cloud at all.
Citizens were barred from going in and out Neverwinter eventually, to stop the curse spreading, laughing in neverwinter equated to dying in neverwinter. Yet when 15 adventurers were sighted leaving the town, a large hunt to track them down commenced going against there word hypocritically. They all left at different times when security were slacking or busy chanting to Lord Neverwinter, and there disappearance was noted by citizens in town, all different in nature.
Little is known about these adventurers, but it is thought that some of them may be the cause of the ‘lack of’ laughter epidemic, and perhaps some, the majority at least were looking for a way to quell it...

There will be options to take, PM me in the day phase the location you are to be in (you must keep it secret) the locations in the Neverwinter wildnerness are:

Gardens
Abandoned House
wilderness
Swamp
Choosing a certain location may endanger you or keep you safe without even knowing it, if i don't recieve a pm in the day the defalut location is the wilderness.
Lynching:
Usable once by every player
Lynching claims can be made on thread, however i will allow people to PM me in the day phase once and change there claimed on thread vote, meaning while it looks like someone may be lynched on thread, the outcome could be completely different, meaning lynching is almost as uncertain as murders are. With this being usable once it could create up to 15 false votes....

Tired? Want some place to sleep while adventuring? In the night phase if you want to hire a room PM me with one of the following:
Standard room - 10 gold
Luxury room - 30 gold
The effects of hiring a room are unknown
Each player earns 10 gold each day phase, it is up to them whether they use it to hire a room or not.
All other normal mafia rules apply
No PM quoting at all, outside of game chat is allowed but no role revealing! no screenies or anything that could influence the game out side of the thread.
