Haiku Mafia [Concluded]

Inspired by my conversations over at Mafiascum.net, I was recommended to host a Haiku Mafia game. This is going to be both quite minimalist, and I don't have the time to deign and host a Small Mafia game, so a mini will suffice.

The setting: It's Edo Period Japan, and specifically the tozama domain of Uesugi, and it's prestigious Haiku Academy. Prospective poets from all over Japan travel to the town of Yonezawa to study the art of the Haiku. Unfortunately, it appears that one student has been driven mad by the incessant 5-7-5 rule, and has murdered the venerated Sensei of the Academy, Subotan-san! A lockdown over the Academy has been imposed by the daimyo of Uesugi, with all the potential killers trapped in the building until they have lynched the one responsible. You are the accused, but you shall maintain your dignity, by only speaking in the art form you came here to study, in order to bring justice to the murderer.

Rules: In addition to the usual Vote/Unvote, you may only speak in Haiku format, which is a short poem with a syllable rhythm of 5-7-5. For example, a typical post might be

All posts must be in that format. No longer, no less. Only one poem is allowed per post. Edits are allowed only to correct syntax. Neither No Lynch nor Abstain are allowed, as I hate them and people who use them. Private communication is not allowed, as I can't be sure if you're haiku-ing or not. Besides,there shouldn't be any need. I would prefer it if you could mention the name of the person you are unvoting, as it makes tallying easier.

Red Herring Mafia, the last Mini I hosted was a great success, and I hope that this one will turn out to be just as interesting.

From now on, Haiku Hegemony is imposed. All posts from this point (But not this one )must be in Haiku format. ATPG's Merriam-Webster dictionary will be the final say on whether a word has six syllables or nineteen or whatever. Bad things will happen to people who screw it up. You may quote other people's posts, but only one at a time. If there is a lynch tie then...interesting things will happen.
