    Default Camels and the "Scare Horses" attribute

    How effective are the camels in Rome Total War at really scaring cavalry? I have a Seleucid campaign, and hired some Bedouin mercenaries, and was wondering just how much the "scare horses" attribute really works. Obviously cav units with less morale would be more affected, but is it really a boon to have camels in my army, especially if I am somebody besides a phalanx faction? Since I am Seleucia my phalanx and cav situation negates the worries about enemy cav (not much stands up to Cataphracts and Companion Cav).

    Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: Psalm 144:1

    In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
    As modest stillness and humility:
    But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
    Then imitate the action of the tiger;
