After a long and grueling journey through the caves at Mt. Moon, having exhausted all potions and antidotes, our plucky protagonist finally makes it to Cerulean City, and decides to try to catch an Abra.
After all, it evolves into one of the best pokemon in the game. A fast psychic-type with extraordinarily high special attack, capable of being taught many different kinds of moves, so it can do heavy damage to just about anything.
....
But the entrance to this bridge is guarded by a creature, so FOUL and so CRUEL, no man yet has fought with it and lived!!! Bones of full fifty pokemon lie strewn about the river, so brave adventurer if you do doubt your courage, or your strength, come nay further!
For DEATH awaits you all... with big, nasty, sharp, pointy hair.

After taking heavy losses on Nugget Bridge, the trainer captured some pokemon on route 24 and 25, and made their way to Pokemaniac Bill's house.
Bill is an expert on all things Pokemon. Not only did he invent the Pokemon PC storage system, which allows Pokemon to be stored electronically (A harrowing experience, I can assure you... what if there's a power outage?) but he is also super rich and is constantly experimenting with new kinds of technology, and new forms of travel.
Having traveled the world on the S.S. Anne, he decided to set his powerful mind to work on human and pokemon teleportation. That way, trainers and pokemon from all around the world would be able to meet up and battle much more conveniently, and then it would be a lot simpler to decide who was rightfully the Pokemon World Champion.
So the trainer arrived just in time to see Pokemaniac Bill try out his new invention for the first time, and he stepped into the teleporter with his favorite Beedrill.
What happened next was truly amazing and would revolutionize the way human beings not only thought about instantaneous travel, but I daresay, would also give the whole of humanity a unique and profound perspective on the bond between man and pokemon.
So anyway.... yadda yadda yadda, Trainer helped out poor old bill by reversing the process, separating him from his pokemon and making sure everything was back to normal. Let's get on with the story.
Pokemaniac Bill:
"Wow, kid, that's some nice pokemon you have there. I hope you have been taking good care of them, and haven't been just letting them be torn to shreds in battle after battle, then leaving them behind to rot on the side of the road. Anyway, if you love to travel as much as I do, then please take this S.S. Ticket."
Trainer's eye began to twitch.

I was playing in the beginning, the mood all changed.

I'm not going to tell you that Viper was lock town, but he was clearly an awful choice for lynch that day. And so Barto got saved and one of our last great PRs was sacrificed in his stead. That Viper wagon was crawling with scum definite, likely all of them, so it's time to quit playing around. We have no other choice but to lynch GH or Barto today, and don't heed anyone who tells you otherwise.

2. Counterclaim some random 1x block claim when you're a powerful PR. Eventually use the 1x block part of your role on someone you call a strong town read. Never claim your role when you are under lynch pressure.
Personally, not how I would expect a villager to ever play that role.

I've mislynched many people with cases like this though. Some people just aren't good at defending even when town, or are too stubborn, or fail to see problems with their own play. E.g. my top team is GH-Barto-Csargo, Champ wildcard. Manasi and Logic are null, but at some point have to be factored into the combinations. I can't subscribe to lynching Csargo just because that's the only place we overlap.

If I'm town, why should I back down if someone is doing a poor job responding to me? That's not a good approach, it's an approach which contorts the evidence to match the accusation.

E.g. my top team is GH-Barto-Csargo, Champ wildcard. Manasi and Logic are null, but at some point have to be factored into the combinations. I can't subscribe to lynching Csargo just because that's the only place we overlap.

That's a possibility, but the way you constructed the question is bad and you should recognize that. The two items need not be related. Viper was equally insistent, and he was town. Town players have ideas on who should be lynched, and prefer some lynches over others.

It's not about what you said, but of what GH did. All my top suspects voted you, but GH went off you and that's the only reason you are here. So if GH flips town, you look better, while if he flips scum, you look worse. This is a parallelism to your Csargo connection.

Csargo's alternative (other than having settled a vote earlier in the day) would have been to lurk and not vote - not permitted - or place a vote on me. If both auto and myself are town, then he has to vote someone anyway.

I know exactly what I meant. I'm not sure what you mean.
You didn't like what Viper was doing, so you 'went after' him. This culminated in you voting to lynch him. You didn't want to back down. But if you had held off on lynching him and instead tried again the next day, that wouldn't have been backing off. Dropping the case completely would have been backing off.
It was a bad case to lynch on D4, and recognizing that wouldn't have meant you had to back down.

Zack's basically posted himself out of any suspicion I might have of him, with today's behavior so far being the capper. He's done a great job at clearing his slot and all in all I'm pretty happy with my decision to save Choxorn on EOD2.
After taking a look at Logic at EOD yesterday, I'm moving him up a slot into the lean town category. No smoking gun that clears him, but just decent overall posts and progressions/thoughts that I have a hard time seeing come from mafia.
Champ is a tough one mostly because while his overall output hasn't been good, he was super quick to jump on the wagon of my biggest scumread at the time when I was making a serious push for Jabbz to be lynched at EOD yesterday. Somewhat doubt the two of them are partners together, which is another reason why I'd like a Jabbz flip sooner rather than later - so I can provisionally clear Champ.
Csargo made his play for Viper and succeeded but overall I think it's a case of "won the battle, lost the war" for him. Scum have fewer places to hide now and something tells me that he'll flip red.
Jabbz, if any part of my attack against you came off as an implication that you were lying about your RL commitments, then I apologize as that was not my intention. I like to think I don't resort to those tactics when hunting mafia and if it even comes close to crossing the line then that's on me. Overall though I still think you're mafia, largely due to overall output of posts and specifically what I highlighted in my last reads list - in general I think you're being far too careful and measured in your posting and I think you made a slip yesterday. But Csargo can die first.
