MapPack 304

Konnichiwa,

Mappack 304 is available: 337 maps. Together with the 110 default maps, you'll have 447 maps to play. This pack is 21.3 mb.

There's also a lite update for those who already have 303. The lite update does not contain the 75 marvellous as maps, which can be downloaded in 5 packs as well. The lite update is only 2.34 mb.

For those people who need all maps and prefer not to download one large file: 303 is still available for download as well:

Download 303 (1 file 13.1 mb) or the five 303 pieces (2-3 mb each).
Download the 5 as-mappacks (less than 1.7 mb each).
Download 303-304 Lite update.

People who already have mappack 302:

Download update 302-303
Download the 5 as-mappacks (less than 1.7 mb each).
Download 303-304 Lite update.

Install all maps to ..\battle\maps
.. denotes the location of your copy of STW WE/MI, for example e:\stw\battle\maps.

since i've been playing a bit again and have had to leave out of games to go get the maps, i decided i'd better download and install the 304 pack. very nice!

of course, now i've got to trim my directory. i can only display maps up to the middle s'es. well over 500 maps now :(

Is there a problem with this pack? Some ppl who downloaded 304 have ended up with between 355 and 370 maps

The mappack install new maps to the gamefolder. People may already have some custom maps in their dir with different names. There are also people who already deleted maps (Iron Bord).

The variation between 355 and 370 maps (should be 455-470?) is no indication that there's something wrong.

Recall that there is a full 304 mappack (which includes all maps) and a Lite 303-304 update which doesn't include the 75 as-maps.
