I think he's just tired. He played a huge number of matches last season, what with the world cup and everything, and he could probably use a rest. But I don't see that happening.

He'll end up more crocked than is is now. Mind you Mr. 'Magoo' Wenger is getting desperate......12 pints adrift.

There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Ronnie is great and good to watch, but Eto'o is the best player on that team. The man is incredible.

What a flexibility. Ball was controlled but was getting out of orbit, so he used his reverse leg to do the bicycle kick.

I am truly lucky. So are all football fans alive by modern day.

    Thumbs up Premiership

    Chelsea - Arsenal 1 - 1

Match was good only in last 20 minutes when Roben and Wright-Phillips entered in. Lehman wasn't good and same for Senderos.
Arsenal had huge lucky. What did Drogba, Essien and Lampard miss? Like Arsenal last months!

I disagree-he had a dire World Cup, but with his team of super-stars around him again, he's been pretty good in the league this season.

I should have probably elaborated there and said, I think his general play has
been approaching passable, but his shooting skills leave a lot to be desired, to
the point where he takes terrible penalties and is the master of the scuffed shot.

And may I just take a line or so out to laugh at West Ham? Pardew is finally gone
    - ha, ha, ha. A mistake in my opinion, but perhaps the 'new manager boost' that
most clubs tend to get might just kick them into safety.

The drama down there could, of course, never compare to the epic saga that's
been played out in the capital up here over the last couple of seasons. And the
heart has just been cut out of Hearts, as it were. Goodbye Heart of Midlothian,
    hello Heart of Kaunas.

    Default News

SC Internacional Porto Allegre – FC Barcelona 1 – 0

Internacional is the new world club champion!!! Congratulation to Brazilian team.

I watched second half (in Sport Italia) and both teams were mostly equal. Both attacked in waves. Adriano scored in 82 minute after great mistake of Puyol and even worse mistake of Belotti (spell?). After that Barcelona started full offensive. Deco had great shot from some 20 meters but Internacional goalkeeper saved. In ~88 minute Ronaldinho from free kick (18 meters) almost scored. Goalkeeper even didn’t move – some ten cwntimeters from right goalpost. And in 92 minute Barcelona players missed probably the best chance…

    In other news…

    Everton – Chelsea 2 – 3

What a goal of Lampard!!! BUT, what a goal of Drogba!!!

    West Ham United – Manchester United 1 – 0

Man Utd had 8 points advantage over Chelsea week ago and now just 2.

    Arsenal – Portsmouth 2 – 2

First half was so pathetic that I almost started to sleep… Except Portsmouth goal in the last minute of first half. Thanks God I watched some good old movie about Genghis Kahn in local television.
Second half – Taylor scored brilliant goal. After that I didn’t watch match because I lost my nerves with pathetic Arsenal. Van Persie imagines that he is Henry. Why Wenger don’t force Adebayor when he is obviously better? After 15 minutes I switched channel to match and score was 2 – 2! Wow! Adebayor saved honor… Again Arsenal received first goal, and again they didn’t win at home. And this 5th time this season! Liverpool is now 3rd.

Another match which will be soon forget…

Lampard just had to go and score with a strike like that, didn't he? Typical.

Didn't look too bad. Partizan should have won the match with that easy header
and then the late chances. No matter, the Huns won't get much further, mark
my words, and hopefully they'll be buggered on Saturday. Pittodrie hasn't been
sold out for quite some time, so the atmosphere should be good.
