Anyone played this game yet? Wassit like, any good?

Good on the strategy side of things .Battle AI's a little on the crap side .
Sort of a light weight Crusader Kings ,with tactical battles .
I like it .Would be nice with another patch to improve the battles .

Thanks for the link Yakobu. The consensus seems to be that the strategy side is good but the battles are so-so. I have to wonder though, does the game overall offer a challenge if the battles are so easy?

You have to upload mods to make the game tougher - and even so, it's not THAT tough.

Well, as long as you know how to protect yourself from nasty events(like a spy making all your knights revolt). For your first few games, as your learn the tricks, you can lose everything in a few seconds. Once you know what to enforce, it gets easier.

It has it's weaknesses, but it's a solid game. I give it a thumbs up. definately worth the money.
Even though it isnot imensly challenging.. it is a lot (A LOT)of fun.
But i would not compare it to any of the TW games. It's just too different. It reminded me more of a vastly improved LEGION. Though that comparison is not doing KoH any justice.
