Hey guys, just joined. I've never done ths forums thing before, so forgive me if I screw up (which I always find a way to do). My name's Cory from TN in real life, Cronos on here. I play MTW, bought Rome and I wasn't too impressed. I'm very ashamed to say that to win I have to use the million dollar code. I'm good in the field, you know killing the bad guys, but when it comes to the economy I'm screwed. ANYways, I just wanted to say hey.

Been here as a lurker/downloader of all kinds of stuff for a while now, played my way through all the total wars (except viking invasion) and rome total realism... now waiting for Europa Barbarorum to reach a stage beyond beta (I'll be honest, I enjoy playing so much more than finding bugs... )

Anyhow - today I accidentally stumbled across the pbem section of this forum (while searching for mods on MTW) - what a very cool idea to have! I'll have to check right away whether anybody is planning on starting a game anytime soon!

There are two active PBM's right now, one for R:TW 1.5 (Seleucids) and one for BI 1.6 (WRE). The latter has plenty of players waiting for their turn, but there may be place in the "Heirs of Alexander". If you wish I or another moderator can post your message there.

Go to User CP (left of the top bar), edit options, and then scroll to thread display options. There several boxes there, but the ones you need are "show avatars" (second heighest) and "display URL avatars" (second lowest). I have ordinary avatars toggled off because this way I can see both URL and normal avatars, but if your connection is slow or you don't like the big avatars, switch the URL ones off.
