Ethnicity-related question

Where can I see what ethnicity could a marriage/adoption candidate be, for a certain faction?For example, I am playing KH. Could I get a Thessalian, or a Syracusan?...Hope you understand what I mean.

If you're asking when you get the chance to adopte or marry someone with your womans, it says on the traits on the traits, and i think you can get a Syracusan or Thessalian one yup, though i think you need to conquer the region first(not sure)

The file you need to look at is the export_descr_character_traits.txt. Look for the ethnicity trait triggers to find which ethnicities your faction can have.

I want to know WHAT I can adopt or accept into my family.Could a Baktrian marry my KH woman? Or a Persian if I get there.Maybe a Thrakian...?I suspect there is a list somewhere (I have looked for it in all those text files, but no luck) that says what ethnicity an adoption candidate or potential husband could have for faction X.Or maybe I can get all ethnicities, if I conquer the respective lands.Maybe a Saka husband for one of those daughters?Well, which one is it?(somebody must know,no?

One thing I wondered about: Imagining I rebuild my Macedonian Empire, can I go get other factions ethnicities and insert them as Macedonian Ethnicities as well? It would make sense for Persian/Bactrian/Proxenos to eventually enter the Royal Familly.

Not every faction gets every ethnicity. For example as KH you get just greek ethnicities (Athenian, Spartan, Korinthian...) and no Thracians or Persians.
You can however bribe a family member from another faction that gets these ethnicies, for example a seleucid Persian or a makedonian Thracian. If that bribed guy has a son, he will have the same ethnicity as his father (but not the same name), as the trait is inherited. That way you can have your persian family as KH.

I know that. I meant if I could edit the files so, other ethnicities could get drafted randomly for Adoption Bethroed, Man of the Hour, etc.

You only need to make new triggers for the factions you want these suitors to get.

ok so nobody knows where its located? like i was sifting thru triggers and couldnt find it... perhaps if you know where the casse ethnicity part is you could tell me ( i.e. 2/3rds down)
