    An advantage to destroying those government buildings would be extra cash, though it isn't much

    Course if you share the same culture as the existing one, then you lose money by destroying it.

    Youo lose money anyway, as even if the government was built by a faction of a different culture you can still use it as if it was your own. However, this is considered to be an exploit regardless of whether it is the same culture or not.

    So is cheating, doesn't mean its better. Besides as I said, regardless of who built all government buildings (except for nomad ones) can be shared between any faction. If you are a greek faction and you conquer a celtic province with a celtic government you can still use it just like your own. However using it is still considered an exploit.

    I know it's an exploit. I know it's "cheating". I was just saying from a pure efficiency viewpoint it's the optimal choice.
