I am curious, what is the procedure regarding character movement? I am currently in Antiocheia with 2 others and nobody is in nearby Damaskos (I believe). Is there anything preventing me from moving to Damaskos in order to govern and defend it more effectively?

You can move around in the Arche the way you want to and no one can't stop you. If you want you can cross the Empire from one side to another and do it as many times as you want.

If you go to Damascus then you can't set the build queue or recruitment queue but if someone besiege the place then you can use it's garrison to defend it. That goes for every settlement. If you are in settlement and it enemy besiege it you can fight the battle with the towns garrison.

Thanks. By the way, I will be going away on Thursday to attend to a funeral (my grandma died) and, since it's 110 miles away, I will have to spend some days there. What's worse, the place is internet free, meaning that I won't be able to do anything until I come back on Sunday. During this time, you can appoint an "intern satrap", rule it yourself, or do it whichever way you want. Just thought you should know I won't be here to do it.

Are you sure you installed the WOTB mod, and play it on RTW (not BI/alex)? It sounds like that kind of problem.

About the game.. change your SOT post before you go saying that I can do what ever I need to do there.

I did install the WOTB mod, and did the VanillaEB thing, i tried loading it from the icon inside the root folder

Make backups, I did, WotB mod only takes a minute to install anyway... my RTW folder is kinda cluttered with a few mods, does WotB mod have a nice easy uninstall button?

That way I can carry on my nice Saka, Baktria and Roma campaigns.

00jebus unfortunately there is no easy uninstall button

Celtic_Punk I'm not sure but I think you should be able to play your campaigns. In WotB mod we have couple of minimods merged together that should improve AI. I think you should ask WH what to do since he made the mod and can help you more than I.
Also what 00jebus suggested is a good idea.. make back ups. Since others seem to open the save without problems then I have know idea what is wrong with your EB

right-click on the file where you uploaded it, pick "copy link location, go to your post in the report room-select edit, pick the 'insert link' icon and paste the link in,let us know you're done and what you did with the save this turn, and hit save, and you're golden (also, after the url tags, paste in the new name of the save, as per the FAQ)

Then, click "add entry". Enter the name of your file in the line that is labeled name. Far below that, there is a line labeled "upload file". Click browse and upload your file. Then click the submit button.
