Here is the summary of news items at the start of the turn.

A Milanese agent was caught trying to infiltrate Marseille. He was caught and executed.
Our kingdom now boasts the mightiest armed force in the world! Were all our troops assembled at one point no other faction could hope to field an army to defeat them! Other rulers should now think twice before seeking to anger us.
Our kingdom has truly grown to become an empire for we now rule the largest area of the civilized world of any major power. The boundaries of our kingdom may be impressive, but take heed that as they become larger they become more costly to defend properly.
Our great nation appears weak to tolerate such insolence from the rebels in Pommerania! The Council of nobles recommends that Pommerania be incorporated into the Reich, and is willing to reward the noble who seizes Stettin with soldiers if he accomplishes it within fifteen turns.
His Holiness the Pope demands that we stop shedding the blood of our fellow Christians. Cease hostilities against Denmark immediately and do not carry out any hostile acts against them for four turns.
A noble named Sigismund von Wolfsburg has offered himself up for adoption by the Kaiser.

Ortwinus Rapse has decided that he does not want to fight. As per Rule 7.3, his army can retreat without harm just as the player or AI faction can whenever it retreats. When EF takes the save he must move his army away from Prince Henry's in a direction and for a duration of his choosing. It's now Ignoramus's turn to take the save.

Is it ok if Zim takes my turn for me? I have already pm'd him my instructions. I moved house and stupid Telstra can't come install my internets until 2nd october - I'll be able to use my work PC (as I am now) to take saves and put them back in the week, but tonight the wife and I are out for dinner plus I haven't yet assembled my home office since the move.
