Leave my scu... I mean illogical first round voting pact buddy alone.
Meh, I don't even know what he discussion was about. I was just giving you something to analyse. I'm nice like that.
Either that or I was expressing my pain at not being the only Hugh in your life, who knows?
VOTE JOHNHUGHTHOM
I do not know the loyalties of my pizzaed countryman, and verily he may be a part of this Pizzonian Conspiracy. But there is something about him that bespeaks volumes; perhaps it is his short stature, embarrassingly short toga, male-pattern baldness, or the spear with two slices of pizza on it and the way he bangs the spear to punctuate his sentences with a proclamation of "Pizza! Pizza!" Whatever it is, he calls way too much attention to himself to be a part of this conspiracy. Instead, I denounce this Winstless Hugh, who ignorantly chases after the wind, which carries the delicious aroma of pizza on it.

Lots of inactive so far :(

It's Saturday, so if there's a better vote out there you'll need to explain it in short words.
Vote: Beefy, I understand fully the Japan situation, and hope yourself and those you know are all ok.
However I will vote you to allow for some analysis on yesterday's voters. We'll know a lot more about everyone I imagine depending on what Beefy shows up as.
Also Vitellius was Roman Emperor for 8 months after Nero's death. So I'm guessing he was destined to take Nero's place once he died.

Don't you think you have some explaining to do as well?
Balloons are opium for the Orgah's
Nope.
Haha.

A woman scorned...
No I know I'm innocent. But mystical website of the future says I suicided as I was named to be one of the conspirators.
"The philosopher Seneca, the poet Marcus Annaeus Lucanus, and the satirist Petronius were also implicated in the plot."
Add Piso in there and there we have the "conspirators"
Thing is 4 is too many and too easy. Maybe Piso and one or two other random players.
I would love nothing more then to replace the honorable Beefius and exact a just revenge upon my most cowardly assailant. A pain for a pain.
Vote: Warman Inactive? Or just unwilling to talk to us?
I am feeling a little under the weather so the write up will be short.
Nero strides forward an tallies the votes yet again we have a draw this time between many candidates. He leans over to check the tally and notices that a mistake has being made. The one known as Johnhughthom has recieved an additional vote. Thus putting him into contention. Once again I will consort with my noble council to decide your fates.

This will teach me for doing the tally whilst ill I made a mistake and Ironhead actually voted for Johnhughthom which means he is lynched.
Nero looks shocked at the tally for it appears that he has made a mistake and he needs to rectify it. He decides that whilst the scribes tabulate the results he will read another poem. This one is called The Things that Make a Soldier Great.
The things that make a soldier great and send him out to die,
To face the swords gaping mouth nor ever question why,
Are lilacs by a little porch, the row of tulips red,
The peonies and pansies, too, the old petunia bed,
The grass plot where his children play, the roses on the wall:
'Tis these that make a soldier great. He's fighting for them all.
'Tis not the pomp and pride of Generals that make a soldier brave;
'Tis not allegiance to the flag that over him may wave;
For soldiers never fight so well on land or on the foam
As when behind the cause they see the little place called home.
Endanger but that humble street whereon his children run,
You make a soldier of the man who never had a loved one.
What is it through the battle smoke the valiant solider sees?
The little garden far away, the budding apple trees,
The little patch of ground back there, the children at their play,
Perhaps a tiny mound behind the simple church of gray.
The golden thread of courage isn't linked to castle dome
But to the spot, where'er it be -- the humblest spot called home.
And now the lilacs bud again and all is lovely there
And homesick soldiers far away know spring is in the air;
The tulips come to bloom again, the grass once more is green,
And every man can see the spot where all his joys have been.
He sees his children smile at him, he hears the call,
And only death can stop him now -- he's fighting for them all.
He looks down at the current pro-consul of Luistania Marcus Salvius Otho (johnhughthom) You are hereby found guilty of attempting to plot against your living god. Do you have anything to say in your defence?
I have always loved my country and defended it to the highest order. My life is devoted to the idea of Rome. I served my country with honour and forthrightness there is not a single thing I regret.
With this Nero motions for the praetorian guard to remove the man and they take him away to allow him to commit suicide, honourably as a roman.
Marcus Salvius Otho (johnhughthom) is dead
You should be aware, my brother, that killing your own flesh and blood isn't a wise idea.
Not a threat, I'm just saying. Pizza would be saddeded, and so would you.

As Night fell Gaius Ofonius Tigellinus (Autolycus) sent out the orders for the Praetorian Guard to protect the houses of certain senators. Gaius thought to himself perhaps this night none will die. How wrong he was to be. As the final member of the Guard left his house bound for the house of the Emperor shadowy figures stood by waiting for enough minutes to pass so that no member of the guard would hear a thing. They hour finally strikes so they move into action against this hated figure of the Nero regime. They move into his house unlike the other murders this one seems almost personal as if there is some great hatred for him. The stab him as many times as the Liberatores stabbed the first living God Caesar. The stab again and again the blood of Tigellinus runs through his house. And yet they still do not stop they chop of both his hands whilst he watches for these are the hands that have caused much suffering.
As day breaks the senators of Rome are meet with a grizzly sight. The head of Tigellinus its eyes pecked out and its tongue removed stuck against the doors of the Senate House. As Nero sees it great angry flushes across his face. He glares at all those present and the people inside the crowd who did the deed no know, if they should fail their fates will be far worse then that of Tigellinus.
Begin Day 3
JohnHughthom is replacing Tiberius of the Drake
Skumma Addict is replacing Beefy.
Should Yaropolk not turn up this round he will be wogged.
Severed head? Yucky!
VOTE WARMAN
because of this response of his -- no vote, no analysis, nothing to offer the rest of us. I wonder if maybe he was waiting here for Tigellinus' corpse to be found, so he could be first on the spot with an observation of it. But then, how would he know where to be and when, unless he was complicit in the conspiracy?
Please WOG me, I am on vacation overseas - I dropped out of animus, but this game started when I was already on my way out the door so no time to arrange replacement.
