I have a girl.

And she pisses me of.

She doesn't like watching football, she doesn't like it when I ignore her, she doesn't like when I get drunk, she doesn't like it when I don't get up early, she doesn't like the fact I don't care which shoes she likes or wants, she doesn't like it when I don't want to see the flick she wants to see, she doesn't like it when I don't feel like doing something with her, she doesn't like it when I'm lazy in the morning and wait to shower in the evening, she doesn't like it when I don't feel like showering in the evening and will shower the next morning, she doesn't like it when I don't listen, she doesn't like the fact I don't have anything to say, she clearly doesn't like a lot of girls she has class with or who I get along with, she doesn't like it when I make my own plans, she doesn't like it when I say I think this or that are stupid, she doesn't like books or politics, she doesn't like it when I do something silly or stupid, she doesn't like it when I make sexist jokes, nor does she like racist jokes and similar, she doesn't like my bush down there, she doesn't like the fact I refuse to wear perfume, she doesn't like pron, she doesn't like cooking, washing,...

Edit: Sorry girls but it had to be said. You ain't all that. Well not after a while.

If you think it's bad now, just wait til you are married...

If you're having courtship difficulties I extend my sympathies to your plight. My hardship count is nigh on one hundred, yet a lady is not among them.

I have a solution for you.

Date a guy.

Considered it. Going out could be fun. It's just they always have other intentions.

I bet it doesn't like it to be called it either.

What attracts you in her anyway?

Date an older woman (this is advice from Fisherking's wife who often thinks that the young girls of today have no clue what charm and congeniality is). Advice from Fisherking himself shall follow shortly.

Because everyone likes MILFS?

That's it! What kind of girlfriend is that? I suggest you dump her.

Ouch, that's one heck of a list! If you have that many issues with your partner, then perhaps try not to see so much bad in her? Or perhaps the relationship's run it's course, in that case you should move on.

When I read this, I had the image of Buzz Killington saying it stuck in my head.

Yes, I fear it's exactly this. But moving on would be hard.

To me she seems like a dumb, proletarian girl. Not something you would want.

At least you get to keep your balls.

Football balls that is.

Also your bush.

Your herbaceous shrubbery that is...

Ni.

Besides that. Women are plenty. If not. Just get money. And do what Notorious B.I.G. sang about. Only backwards.

Too many cultural references?

Sounds like a bad case of PMS. It is either that or you need to move on.

If you are not making each other happy I doubt it is worth the strain.

Fear of being alone is a bad reason to stay together.

If you can’t see more good than bad it is just punishment to stick with it.

To quote a similar quote from the only real character in Star Wars:

Oh no I'm pretty good at that.

Thing is kinda loved that girl. And I'd bring her quite into trouble if I'd go. She not being a virgin anymore, but especially she still being quite Moslim is the problem. And well her father is even more Moslim I'd say.

Hehehe, wait till you're married and it's too late. Most men shouldn't get married till they're 40.

Game over, man, game over!

If I could compress my life experience as a girl/women fan/connoisseur, and provide you with a sincere advice, it would be...

"GET TO DA CHOPPPAAAAA!!!"

I always prey 18/19/20/21 year olds. Even though I'm 17.

It's more fun than some dumb 15 year old girl.

That is a tremendous list of what she doesn't like, and dare I say I'm the exact same as you with almost everything on there (minus the fact that when I see my girlfriend I shower...because a clean man has dirty laundry!). Euphamism intended.

Alot of the things you mentioned are stuff we do because it's comfortable and we're lazy, but alot of it sort of disappears in the process of growing up. Maybe she wants you to be a bit more mature in the way you present yourself, both in a physical (what we see, ie showering, hedge maintenance) sense and an intellectual (having to stuff to say) and probably even emotional (doing stuff with her, of the non bang sort).

Or, she has a mad case of uni stress/home stress/something that's ticking her off at taking it out on you.

Or, you two are, always have been, and always will be, two very different people and will always come to disagreements on these issues.

I'm not sure what advice I can give you, you haven't said what you'd want to do with her. Short term, long term, fling or whatever...and if you have said it on this page, I'm not scrolling up to check because I'm that lazy. How long have you two been going out?

Overall she sounds possesive, the opposite is worse. But you'd better explain to her that when guys get too comfortable (or worse smothered) they tend to get irritable and want to get some time to themselves.

It's not end of semester exams or anything else adding stress?

I'd say get up early, do some exercise, have a shower evening and night. It's all positive things you should do anyway. As for the rest well, every relationship is give and take. Do you like to cook or wash? No, don't expect in this day and age that the woman does either. Mind you cooking once in a while is a very good way to get brownie points... brownies are very good at getting brownie points.

Assuming that is the reason you are discussing this that you wish to repair the situation...

Brownie points? Care to elaborate?

If she wants to make me shower twice a day, she's trying to kill me.

As a person who has come out a long term relationship, I have this advice for you:

Decide if the relationship is worth it, then determine if both of you can work it out and change what's necessary.
If it isn't worth it anymore or either one of you will be miserable in the future keeping the relationship, it may be better to just end it rather than prolong the relationship any longer.
