This is not the kind of thing a man like to see with a hangover. I expected to wake up to an end-game write-up, but instead I've got to deal with another one of these things. I'm too tired to do this again. I was so convinced the game was over I didn't even bother submitting orders last night. I have no clue why none of the obvious targets were attacked last night, it does not make a whole lot of sense. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps there's another restriction on who the Jotun can kill at night, just like in Midgard 2. However, that was a restriction on a Champion killing his King, and unless I'm mistaken, aren't both Kings already missing their champion?

Obviously Andres is Loki and Loki is anti-town. He's killed several Kings and continues killing even now. The question is whether he's a Jotun ally or a third party who is fighting for himself. I'm inclined to say third-party, as that seems more consistent with the role, and more balanced.

Unless someone can explain how robbiecon wasn't WoO'd (WoG'd) after missing 4 votes and having a total of 5 posts, then he must be a Jotun who is immune to WoG. It's a sure lynch, while sorting out the supposed false roles and cover roles from everyone else could go another day if we even have a chance at it. It's not enough of a guarantee on glyphz or TinCow or whomever right now.

This is a very good point as well. A lurker/inactive mafioso would also partially explain what is going on here. This would make a lot more sense if a scum simply forgot to submit orders, or was busy on a weekend or something and just didn't get around to it.

Ok, let's go through this carefully. Last night we have Loki sending two people off to kill one person. That's similar to the double Jotun hits on all the gods... so Loki was probably trying to kill a Jotun. At the same time, we have only one hit from a Jotun, which indicates the other was either already dead or inactive. I don't see anything in TLD's death that looks like a dead Jotun, so a Jotun was probably inactive. At the same time, we have a Jotun kill on W_E which is clearly a poor attempt to frame me. The Jotun were not going for victory last night, instead they were setting up today's lynch phase with me as a patsy. That means they did not believe themselves capable of winning last night, which means there are more roles alive than they can kill in a single night.

I think what we're seeing here is a Loki/Jotun fight with the rest of us caught in the middle. We're being used as lynchbait, which is why we're all still alive. The inactive Jotun, combined with robbiecon's lack of WoG, is pretty damning evidence against him. Plus, Earthling points him out as scum for what I think is the first time in the game, and *poof* suddenly robbicon appears and posts:

We thought it was too little, too late yesterday, but clearly it wasn't. As frustrating as this is, the fact remains that the game is still going and the Jotun did not make a play for a victory last night, which means we haven't lost yet. This is actually a good thing. Andres is clearly scum, and if we cannot find a Jotun we should lynch him. However, finding a Jotun would be better because if we lynch Andres the Loki/Jotun war would stop. We don't want that, we want to let them keep fighting. So, the best move is to lynch a Jotun if we can find one. Pressure votes on robbiecon would thus be useful. If we don't like that, or any other Jotun case by the end of the day, we pile back on Andres and dispose of him then grit our teeth and hope we survive the night.

I've been reviewing robbiecon's posts, which doesn't exactly take a whole lot of time because he's a lurking lurker who lurks. However, ATPG had an interesting take on one of them earlier in the game:

I don't see how a townie can honestly vote for glyphz right now. At the very least Loki is a sure lynch, but I agree if he's a third party we want the conflict between him and the Jotun to continue to maintain our slim hopes. However, the game rules strongly imply robbiecon is a Jotun so he's another sure lynch. I can't believe a townie could have missed FOUR days of voting and go unWoG'd, except the rules very explicitly state Jotun are immune to the WoG. If that's wrong, we were wrong for a good reason and it's not really on us, while it would be disastrous to go and lynch a town King out of anger and frustration.
