This is my second game. The first one was a 30man big game, and I got lynched on day 2. I was a townie. :(

I am here, I have just been playing the Endless Setlist III on Rock Band 3, and that has taken me most of the day.

As for El Barto, I think it's unlikely he actually has an item, I agree with the theory that he's simply trying to get someone's attention, whether it be a mafia scum buddy, or someone else he has to reach out to. I'm going to balance towards it being a mafia buddy, I've seen small games like this where there have been two mafia, but they don't know each other. They get kills every other night, but because of this, they sometimes kill their scum buddy.

Sorry Takhisis*, but my vote is going to have to be with you.

Dunno about that. Too reckless. He could have been third to post his name, and that might have led the rest to post theirs. Hey, if he were Mafia he could even have argued thanyone who didn't post a name was Mafia.

Don't forget, by the way, that this hypothetical scum buddy would have received his buddy's name in his PM as well.. If Barto had simply posted his own name, the partner would have eventually spotted it and they would be in contact with no one the wiser.

I'm not buying into the Barto wagon, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

If all you had to do was post your in-game name to ensure you weren't accidentally killed by a partner, this game would be too easy. Especially when the name means nothing to everyone else in the game. Unless of course the names are directly connected, like Abbott And Costello, Laurel And Hardy, or Harold And Kumar.

If Barto's scum-buddy is, let's say, "Heinrich" (and he knows this from the PM), and Barto is, let's say, "Adolf", then all Barto would have had to do is post "Adolf here", and whoever Heinrich is would have seen that and thought, "Oh, that's the name in my PM. I should get in contact with this guy."

End of Day One.

Nazi Germany, somewhere near Berlin, 1942:

Another day of guard duty. Albrecht was beginning to wish that someone would actually try to get into the Complex, it would make a welcome change to the boringness of Heinrich and his fellow guards. God he hated Heinrich. What an arrogant little.... Albrecht shook his head, someday he would teach him a lesson. A bird calls. It's the assembly whistle. Albrecht sighed, and walked through the bushes back into the barracks next to the compound. He walked to the center of the airfield, where the others were gathering. Heinrich was once again in the middle, that piece of...

"My friends, the Furher has ordered us to guard this complex from the enemies of our glorious nation. We all know that to let a traitor into here, is to spell our doom. Would any like to confess?"

Silence.

Heinrich sighed, "So be it. One of you must die today, so we can root out this traitor. We don't have the time to go through paperwork. Come back here in a few hours, with the person you believe to be the traitor on a piece of card. You are dismissed."

Discussion went on, people talked.

Later that day, when they were back in the airfield, the men handed their votes back in.

"It seems that Albrecht is the one who must die. I would say I am sorry, but you are a traitor to the Nazi people, and a disgrace to this world."

As the words came out of Heinrich's mouth, Albrecht's mouth opened in shock. All colour drained from the world, his head bowed.

"Now, please?"

The commissar raised up the pistol and fired one bullet, straight through the neck. Blood spurted everywhere. Albrecht shook, then lay still.

As they went through his belongings, it was found that he was not a traitor, he was a simple guardsman, albeit with a serious dislike for Heinrich.

Well, so he wasn't Mafia but from all those not Mafia I guess we lynched the best we could with his animosity against Hermann who seems to be rather important. Let's see who eats it at night and get the right killer tomorrow. Also, I don't think there'll be 2 Mafia players in this one so we should get 2 more lynches.

End of Night One

A quiet night in the barracks. Nothing stirred.

...

A shadow stirred from it's resting place. All the guards had separate chambers located in different parts of the complex, tonight one would be searched. A man walked to the the front of one such chamber. It was dark, and he had no light source. His face, if it could be seen, was set in grim determination. He gripped the pistol in his hand. He had to know. Was he really here?

Summoning up his courage, the man slowly opened the door. The darkness stayed, he was blind. Covering his coat over him, he pulled out a lighter. This was the worst part of the plan, if he was caught, it would all be over before he would get his revenge. Swallowing nerviously, he flicked the lighter. Everything was still, the small light providing a small radius of light. He banished the thoughts of running and began to rummage through the possessions of this man. He soon became lost in his task, his goal to know everything about this man was becoming achievable. He noticed some things, familiar to him. Could it be?

A creak.

Panic crept in. The man grabbed his pistol. Aware that any sound could be his death approaching. A man walked out, straight into the pistol. The shock on his face was evident. The first man covered the other's with his hand, and whispered, "Brother?"

The man's eyes widened, and upon seeing this the hand dropped. The lighter clicked out.

"We have work to do. Come."

"I haven't heard from you in ages, and now you show up with a pistol on your hand at my chamber? What is it you want?"

"I need to get into Complex A12."

"Why?"

"That isn't important. Help me kill the others.

"No. They've done no wrong."

"They are stopping me from my revenge. They must die."

"What revenge.... I think you better tell me the whole story."

....

....

"And now you know."

"Aye... but we can't kill people at night. If there is a murder, the SS will be here faster than you can blink. We just need to stay a few more days, let them kill themselves."

"Fine. Good luck."

The man left the chamber, feeling better now that he had an ally.
