Angel Season 1 Episode 2: Friends Forever.

Angel sits broodily in his office. He draws pictures of his former colleagues. There is a loud knock at the door, a forbidding ominous sound.

Cue Opening Music


Angel opens the door to find Groo outside.

Groo: May I come in, Angel. Then perhaps we can go out and fight the mighty menaces of this land. It will be glorious!

Angel: I'm not really feeling it right now. Besides, things really are under control here.

Groo: But you look so depressed! Come, I insist! If there is truly nothing wrong, we can engage in riotous celebration instead!

And Groo drags Angel out the door.

Elsewhere, csargo is packing up his van. He wipes away a tear from his face, then steels himself for the drive ahead. A figure gives a small cough from behind him.

Csargo: Who is it? Oh, it's you. Did you hear the news? Willow's dead.

Figure: Yes, I did. And soon you will be too.

A demon steps out of the shadows behind the figure and charges.

Csargo is holding his own, when he is shot from behind by a short blast from a gun. Another burst, and the demon falls too. A large figure steps out.

Large figure: Will you leave, or will you stay and die too. It matters not to me.

With a hiss, the first figure vanishes in a puff of smoke, and the Large figure stoops to examine his kill. Fade to black.

Brief view of Angel and Groo drinking and talking, then pan away from the bar they're in to a very fancy mansion, where inside, Kagemusha is tied to a chair.

Kagemusha: What, again? I really need to hire some better bodyguards.

A figure jumps lightly through the window.

Figure: Indeed you do. But you won't soon enough.

The figure takes out a wicked-looking knife, walks over to behind Kagemusha and bends down, whispering calming noises in her ear and stroking her hair before killing her with a swift slash across the throat.

It's cool. Yeah, unfortunately my activity is not at the levels I'd like it to be. I kind of figured that the week before finals the professors would go easy on us. I was so, so wrong :/. This coming week is finals week, so once Friday hits I'll go from having a ton on my plate to having nothing at all - and I'll be doing a lot more in catching up with things then.

So I'm around, I'm scanning the thread, you can still send me messages if needed - but I won't be doing any hardcore analyzing until Friday at the earliest.

It's a pretty big shift if that's the case, she had no killing powers at all last game because she wanted to stay being redeemed.

I don't feel like mining the wiki, but from what I've seen crossbow use is only attributed to Faith and Wesley.

You'll notice that killer did not act on the 1st night. Something obviously changed. And that doubled attack on Csargo is very interesting; people on both sides saw this vanilla townie and thought, 'He is a threat. I need to kill him.'

Kill 1 Mr. Trick killed with Stake by a "large figure"

Kill 2 Connor killed by the demon Vosh

Kill 3 Oz attacked by a demon and kill by a "large figure" using a gun.

Kill 4 Kagemusha tied to a chair and having her throat slit.

Alright, I've been misreading my blocker's result:

You decide to come in by the window, as you expect it to be less secure. You carefully climb up using a grappling hook. You make it up, smash the glass and spot Kagemusha nervously sitting down as a man with a crossbow menaces her. You pull out the sedative you had prepared, and inject it into her. The other figure helps you to tie her to the chair and with a nod, you each leave the way you came.

So that was two blocks on him.

But I remember that "wicked knife" took me to Faith, and she had a pretty wicked knife in the first image.

what "both sides" are you talking about? You seem to assume that the killers knew Csargo was a townie? what makes you think so? Who are the people who knew Csargo was a townie?

Not one, actually. Whole operation was a dud.

Those two killers are definitely not aligned together, and one is evil, so their sides. Call it town-evil, or maybe just neutral-evil. AFAIK I was the only one Csargo revealed to. I just found it remarkable that two independent killers of differing alignments both considered Csargo enough of a threat to attack him.
