Can you make your mind up on who you visited last night, me or Diana? And as far as I know Chaotix didn't visit anyone when he got infected, Visorslash visited BSmith and spread the infection that way.

And why are people still visiting eachother?

Darn it, I didn't explain that well at all, and I ended up making you all more confused. So, let me just set the record straight:
The night I got infected was the night I visited Diana.
The night before I got infected was the night I visited edse.
My apologies for the chaos this blunder caused.

Captain Blackadder noted the angry crowd of people outside his shop. He paid no attention and simply continued stacking the cooling bricks he had made against the far wall. "I'm a brick maker, and I make bricks. I'll make bricks until I die." he said.

The end came swiftly. He turned to see the Magistrate holding the shotgun, and felt the blast hit him in the chest. He was knocked into the stack of bricks, which fell and buried the mortally wounded man in a freshly baked tomb.

The crowd dispersed, hoping that was the last time they would have to execute anyone.

On the surface of it, I'd say that post by Visorslash looks pretty damning. But the way this game has gone and within its genre, I'd be concerned that it's a red herring.
Other past events have looked bad and the people involved turned up innocent.

I agree with Arjos on this. None of the infected people have died yet from their disease, and it's looking like the infections are just an alternate night-kill mechanism that allows 'dead' people to keep voting. Plus, there's that stuff I said last day phase, which I can't be bothered to rehash.

No, that's not what I suggested at all.

I said that people who have been mentioned in night writeups appear to be clear, because they appear to have been targeted by the darklings. This was predicated on the notion that the darklings would not waste a night writeup getting themselves mentioned, to throw us off the trail. It also presumes that if there were a true doctor or roleblocker, that the effects of the save / block would not appear in the writeup, or at least that the attacker wouldn't be mentioned. The writeups bear this out though, as we have seen people who appear to be victims being saved, but the attacker was anonymous when that happened.

I admitted straight up on this, I could be wrong in my analysis, and the highest priority might be people who were mentioned in writeups but not infected. The reason I don't think I'm wrong is that we have had innocents who were mentioned and not infected -- and subsequently lyched.

I'm going to stick with what I did yesterday, which everyone seemed to ignore, and Vote: Arjos. Jumping on DiamondEye's post as one to agree with like that is exactly what scum would do, if I'm right.

Sorry, I must have misread this yesterday. "this possession vote" must mean that Visor is possessed. Probably just like LacyMcCrow was some days ago.

I don't know, Visor's post is weird, as in drunken banter, but mafia auto-infecting? That's even sillier than a doctor, who can't cure...

The way I see it, these wagons just end bad: autolycus and Captain Blackadder.
Have a look at what we know from the game mechanics, instead of judging only by players' behaviour and it's pretty much apparent where the mafia is hiding...

If I'm wrong, bugger the game, was too confusing :P

Sorry guys at work for the past few days, long hours, and drive.
Just got caught up in thread, and have to say, were you guys still drunk from the Superbowl yesterday or what. What is with all the votes on Visorslash. I know that the post was very strange, but it was strange for Visorslash's play style as well. And what, did you all miss the part where it said "but when we use this possession vote...", was it just too obviously scummy that you overlooked it. I do admit it is a strange mafia play, don't know what to make of that, but I do think that Visorslash is possessed or under a spell or something like that. So FOS on all that voted him.
And edse I still don't know what to make of you, you vote for Visor but then you do re read the post and catch your mistake and fix it, but your claim of Doctor, still not sure of that, could be possible in a Pizza game I guess, but you still ping me. But if you are a Doctor, don't want to lynch you, I mean I'm sick now too, may need your help soon.

All I really know is this game is giving me a headache!!!

I think I'll go with Vote: Chaotix for now. You are a way better player, to have miss what the Visorslash post actually said, just sets off that scumdar. And besides you are patient 0 with this "infection", maybe that is how the darklings infect the town, they were already infected. IDK this game is driving me crazy, trying to figure out the mechanics.

Are you suggesting that Darkling possession would allow them to post in-thread with the possessed person's account? Because as unconventional as ATPG games are, I think that's a bit too left-field.

Also, I have been at least temporarily possessed/driven insane/whatever, and have demonstrated no overt symptoms apart from that night write-up.
