    Default Sweden 2012

What do you think of when you hear "Sweden"?

    Possibly world leading rape statistics?
    Ghettos?
    Fundamental Islamism?

Sweden has since the 90's done a social experiment, letting go of most of the normal barriers separating "us" from "them". As one of the last socialistic countries, the Swedish people are of the mindset that "everyone is equal". Not just, say, have the equal right to LIVE... But you know... Equal. No one is better than anyone else, or more able to educate, or more likely to... anything...

Before I get accused of things I am not sure I can stand for, let me say that my idea of a perfect Nation would include about 10% immigrants, preferably spread from all spectrum's of the world.

However, we accept 1+% of our population A YEAR.

And because we want to show the rest of the world that you can make anyone a functioning member of society, we accept those that other countries do not. The old, the sick and the uneducated.

We are, like, aiming for the world championship of being the smuggest bestestest country EVAH!!

Of course it is failing, HARD!! But media is actively lying to the people. And before you think I have a tin foil hat on, no. Journalists have openly said that the policy is to not portrait immigrants in a negative way, not to help racism.

They even try to make immigrants look white on pictures, I'm not even joking. And it's the major newspapers we talk about.

Well yeah, I don't see the logic in that either. But that's just how we roll.

To demonstrate, a video showing a seminar at one of our best universities. An artist was invited to show his new film, which is VERY controversial to muslims. Freedom of speech? Forget it, this is Swerabia!!

I think the artist is an idiot, but as someone once said... ... ... *you all know the saying*

Just the first minutes are worth watching... Then it's just the aftermath...

    ALLUH AKHBAR!!!!!

I think the only explanation for this is that when nationalism doesn't have an outlet in healthy patriotism, and when people don't have a regular religion like christianity to be passionate about, they obsess with liberalism, progressivism, "being on the right side of history", etc. This type of personality is natural for academics, and the media naturally draws on academic types for their employees, and they quote experts from the same source. So certain things get a tremendous backing. Other, like the rights of plants, wallow in obscurity, at least for the moment.

It's not really a "world championship for smuggest bestest country", it's about spiritual purity.

Oh right, what do I think of when I hear sweden.

I read a biography of Charles XII once. He led charges and killed people with a sword in the 18th century. Epic. Then in the 20th century you sat out the war and shipped iron ore to hitler. Now you make cheap furniture that yuppies get excited about. For many americans you serve as the go to "well, you wouldn't want to end up like..." country.

I object to that. We have exactly ONE good soccer player (if you call Zlatan Ibrahimovic Swedish). He is however damned good. Heck, if I as a complete nationalist not only accept but support him being captain of our national team... He's bound to be good, aint he? I am sure HoreTore watched his game yesterday, he dominated once again, 4 assists (and one shot on goal that was awesomely acrobatic but that he missed). We have some good immigrants too, don't get me wrong.

My fear isn't dirty muslims kicking us out...

    My fear is:

    A) The creation of a new labor class (immigrants). We already see those signs.
    B) The upheaval of the social safety net we used to have.
    C) (even more) Confrontations between the cultural groups.

Sweden's government is like the evil stepmom, she hates your guts but furiously demands that you act as if it's a loving family. What will the neighbours think if you don't?

Edit, the Swedish ski instructor can't read this because I am on ignore, but that video that is showed is Sweden in 2010 that was two years ago.

Let's accept them all here, and let Sweden's economy go under...? Is that your alternative? And why limited to Somalis, should we not accept the old and sick from anywhere?

Rather than taking it as a joke I looked up some of your crime stats.

In rape you are third as a percentage of population and tied with Finland for that ranking. 1.1% of the Swedish population are rape victims. Considering that it is almost all females that makes it even a higher likelihood of being raped. That is about 104500 victims.

You rank fifth in overall crime as a percent of population. 24.7% of a population of 9453000. A population roughly equal to Istanbul.

You rank 16th internationally in the number of individual crimes but all of those are larger countries.

Do I take it that your government is hiding this or unconcerned?

    Thanks Fisherking.

Yeah, they hide it. Up to and including to comical levels... Swedes still have the VIEW of their own nation from the 70's... I still hear Swedes talking about how "we" have the best wellfare system in the world, while in fact several countries has run us by long since.

I have heard Swedes talk about horrible crime rates in other countries, while in fact Sweden is worse.

It's a mass hysteria, but understandable, as media does its best to urge it on. Imagine the opposite of Fox news, but the scary thing is: PEOPLE THINK IT IS OBJECTIVE. Heck, they even promote it as objective. Yet you can't tune in without hearing a sob story about: "First time I took a immigrant into my house, and how it changed me to a better person". <- or something similar.

EDIT: RE: the Italic line, it seems like a petty complaint until you factor in we have the worlds highest (or second highest?) taxes.

To elaborate: People think we have possibly the worlds highest tax rates, to have the worlds best country. That opinion was, from my perspective, more or less true half a century ago or so. However, now we pay for immigration instead. So we still have the worlds possibly highest taxes, but now we have gaping holes in the social security net, and crime rates sky rocketing.

But media and the people go on like as if everything was still just GRAND.

Sweden a haven for crime? Hah! Now I've heard it all.

Like in Norway, the most reliable measure of crime rate is the number of murders. Murders are the "highest crime", and one can easily assume that an increase or decrease in murders means an increase or decrease in general crime. Murder is also the only fool-proof crime stat. All murders are known, and almost all murders are solved(95% in norway, I assume sweden is the same, excluding pm murders of course). That gives zero dark numbers, as opposed to the extreme dark numbers we find in rape or theft, for example(which nearly nobody reports). An increase in reported rapes, for example, does not necessarily mean an increase in actual rapes taking place, it's more likely that it's due to more people reporting it. An increase in murders is a dead give-away, that means more murders period.

So how are things in Sweden? It's about 90 per year. We have around 30 per year with half the population, so you have a little more than us. And it's gone down over the last 20 years. With increased immigration, you have less crime. Yeah, better kick that pakistani doctor out before he kills anyone.

In conclusion: Sweden are among the countries with the lowest crime rates in the world, and decreasing. People right of center like to paint the devil on the wall and scream about how the world is coming to an end. Life goes on. Everything is how it should be.

    Edit: For your amusement.

Really? No, really? That is your argument?

All logic aside, I'm not sure the girl who were gang raped by 7 Negroes agrees with you. I'm not sure the 12 year old guy being assaulted and robbed of hiss cell phone by an immigrant gang agrees with you.

That you spit on the severity of these crimes absolutely disgusts me.

If the number of reported burglaries and rapes goes down, it's just because fewer people are reporting them? We must assume that crimes other than murder are static at all times except when the murder rate is changing? If murder goes up, but theft statistics remain the same, then there must be more theft? That's what the implication seems to be...
