Honestly, I don't know why anyone would panic in the day phase...you would need about at least 6+ votes in the lead to kill you outright. I just don't see everyone jumping on-board to reach those numbers.

Andres does have things besides mafia to attend to, like running the forum, being a father, etcetera. I am not sufficiently bothered with him lurking for one phase.
Or just taking a minute to go, "He has been in this game, this game, and this game," without linking them. But hey - that's cool. Evidently you have 5+ minutes to argue with me, but not 1 minute to tell me what rounds he has been in that you have played with him in. Guess you really don't like the idea of me proving you wrong.

Also... provide proof that he has been lurking? Are we looking at the same game thread? The proof is already all right here, mah man. He posts on Day 1 with a big RP post. I observe Arjos and Autolycus give him items and say one of them is probably scum with him - this is basically just a gut read at this point (also, ironically, Arjos is now voting for me). Not counting pre-game posts (which would be 1/3 of his posts if I did count them), he has made a grandiose total of four posts. Missing a day phase? Hardly, bro - it's Day 3.

In page 4 of Hey, Nobody is Hosting This Large Mafia he, as town, makes more posts on Day 1 than he has in this entire thread so far.

In Netherworld III: Final Judgment he, as town, had made seven posts by Day 3 and didn't make any sort of big roleplaying posts.

My friend, even Andres is saying that Andres isn't being Andres.

A lot of rounds were difficult to meta-analyze either because I couldn't find his affiliation (you guys seem to hide the affiliation of people really well here... not updating it in the OP, not revealing it on death, and occasionally not showing it in the end thread, either), or because he wouldn't have gotten his role or was out of town for extended periods of the round. On the plus side, my extensive meta analysis also brought me across this most excellent picture:

Could somebody name (you don't even have to link) a round where he has been scum in? Every round I saw he was town in - and it would help a lot to get a feel for his scum meta as comparison.

And yes. You want a "meta" analysis of me? I have principles. Some of them are rational, some are not. I will vote for people that violate them. Congratulations.
Well, there is typically only one other site I play mafia at - and everyone there knows me anyway, so it's to be expected that I am like this. So... your principle is to vote for people who you disagree with, who vote for people in the "A Team", who act aggressive in their scumhunting, and/or who drop "you're pro" lines, regardless of their affiliation - which you'll refuse to actually take the time to look into because football, yet don't offer to look into things on Monday, either. So in summary, you're sticking to a lynch that doesn't make sense just because you don't like me when, with a little bit of effort and research, you could easily see that this is always how I act as town; then you're using "I have principles" as an excuse to hide behind said lynch. Maybe you, Sir, need to rethink your town strategy, as well. In my realm, we actually try to lynch people we find scummy, not just lynch people we dislike.

Flinching? I'm retorting against things that make no sense. And you never answered my question regarding your giant scum post. Here, let me repost it for you since you evidently didn't feel like replying to it the first time:

Who is "a friend"? And why is this person not voting for Andres himself? And in your post you say "they" are scummy. Who is they?
Are you trying to look scummy by ignoring my questions regarding your scum post and then voting me just because the cool kids are doing it when there is evidence I have laid out that this is always how I act as town - which you choose to ignore? Because if you are trying to act scummy then you're doing a superb job of it. Because "my friend's judgment" sounds a lot like, "a scum buddy told me to and then didn't want to vote for Andres himself." That's what I'm getting from this - and your decision to ignore my questioning is really not helping you out in that regard.

Once again- it's day 3. You hardly waited for the phase to begin to declare him a "lurker" when lurking in itself implies inactivity over several rounds. For the average player in this game, he was fine round 1.

Afaik, the last time that Andres was scum was, in fact N3, that one game you thought he was town. And the principles I want you lynched for are: A) The hyper-sensitive response to 2 votes in a game where lynch isn't even auto-death, and B) The so pro remark.

Reply
Alsark 23:20 11-18-2012
That's exactly what I'm talking about - you guys make it impossible to figure out people's affiliations after the fact. All I know is that he wasn't mafia - hence, he wasn't technically speaking "scum". A serial killer needs to act differently than a generic scum team, as they both need to avoid getting night hit and avoid getting lynched. A generic scum team does not need to worry about getting night hit.

Well I already showed that that is always how I respond to getting votes on me (which you'd rather ignore, so whatever); so basically your lynch on me is now just for the "so pro" comment. So effectively it's now a random lynch. That's cool, but we shouldn't be random lynching on Day 3.

One of the main things comes from the very stark contrast in his interest in the round and then suddenly switching to lurk mode (where I come from you're pretty well expected to post every phase, which, granted, I haven't done a good job of this round myself). That in combination with Autolycus buddying with him struck me as them likely being scum together.

Anyways, thinking of switching to Ninjacow anyway due to that giant scum post if he doesn't explain himself - and if Ninjacow is scum then Andres probably isn't scum.

I don't necessarily think Andres is scum - he could be one of the initial players of the colleges though. What is interesting to note is that Montmorency and Ironside both voted for the Shield of purity to go to Ironside in the initial phase. Given that we now know that Monty was the wielder of a the Aeromancers, it strongly suggests that Ironside is their master. Perhaps ninja was following a similar analysis with Andres, I don't know. His posts certainly seem strange though.

We don't know how many scum players the game started with, but it's unlikely they would have known each other. The most likely hypothesis at this stage is that one of them hopped on the khaan Shield of Purity bandwagon to avoid suspicion.

My suspicion currently falls upon Riedquat - he's been keeping pretty low. So a pressure vote: Vote: Riedquat.

No, you're scum for the weirdly certain and aggressive tone you had when you previously admitted to not knowing what was going on.

In terms of this game, zero, but I don't mind being lynched on such logic. At least that smacks of trying to read me, albeit failing.

This is the part where I would say something more productive if I were either mafia or a townie with a shred of a clue. I'm not sure my reads are good in a game this complex and I'm quite distracted elsewhere.

I don't want to press Andres just yet.

Allthough I find it weird that a young woman like autolycus would fall for my charms, given my age, it is perfectly understandable. After all, I'm still a handsome man and my red eyes are irresistable.

Reminds me of that dragon. AsktheTinCow she was called, which, when you come to think of it, was an odd name for a dragon. Anyway, she was smoking hot. Hahaha. Did you get it? Dragon? Smoking hot? Hahaha. Anyway, AsktheTin...

"Not again. Oh please! Not again!," a tormented sounding voice yelled and suddenly, a gigantic monkey appeared right next to Andres. "Can somebody please shut this old fool up already? For centuries, I have been listening to his ramblings. This dragon story, it's ooooooo...ld. I've heard it at least 2 million times!"

I'm quite unsure why people are ignoring the possibilities of college recruitment, as that may be the case for autolycus/andres and I'd definitely think ninjacow just wants to follow the actions of his head master.

however, that's awfully scummy on ninjacow; just wants to go with the flow (but I bet you ain't water!). Recruitments aren't always innocent. Vote: Ninjacow
