But wait. Isn't the game essentially broken if two doctors exist and only one scum? I mean, we could protect each other every night, becoming invincible masons. As the scum have only one member we can outvote them anyway. I would like our role-scanner to scan Ibn-Khaldun.

Why to protect each other if you can protect yourself? Also, it didn't worked very well in the previous game and we had 3 doctors... Also, have you just discovered you are a doctor or what? you never pointed a finger against I-K... another oddity, Chieff Pappy scanned you, again, instead of scanning someone who never got scanned...

Chief Pappy's scan is different from the other scans, like he mentioned. He is a role investigator, not an alignment investigator, although apparently he also gets results for players when "mafia" is their role.

There is (in general) no need to be so suspicious of night actions. Most players send their night actions without coordinating or checking what other players have done. It is not sinister, it's just ignorance.

What we ought to be looking at is players' relations to Ishmael. Anybody who voted for Lux on the day Lux got lynched instead of Ishmael should be suspect.

EDIT: Also, unless there is some caveat to our two doctors' protections, and there is only one kill per night, yes we have a way to win without fail and the game is broken. I suspect someone is lying or hasn't revealed an extra aspect of their protection ability.

Right... I forgot about results, was thinking of myself but you always can check sent messages, and there is something else really odd in the actions he informed very related at what you just noted.

Ok, Something is terribly wrong with my memory. (Well I did have a rough time lately due to RL)

These were my protection actions.

Night 4 - rickinator9 (more usefull scanner)

Night 6 - crossroad (One of the newcombers so innocent)

I also figured the reasons for my protections. (My memory needed a great whipping)

Yes and no! With all the time DF invested playing this game, discussing and posting, if he was mafia he easily could come with a solid account of every night action. When I did the list Makrell keep updating was to keep track of my own actions that were becoming a mess in my own memory.

Also, two different investigations of him resulted, innocent and doctor... he is not a good candidate for todays lynch

And you have been "wondering" about my alignment since I replaced crys, based on my posting. Please get over it (), I simply post as I do because I am an expendable townie and somehow, one of the few remaining players paying any semblance of attention. I'm looking at the game through the lens of what I would have done to keep it balanced, and that means I shouldn't be able to trust that the ridiculous number of town power roles are all trustworthy.

The Eighth Day

Owen Thatcher (BSmith) nervously awaited as the limp body of Bret was discovered beneath his sleeping bag. The people went into an uproar, accusing each other, cursing them, even going as far as questioning their own reality.

Owen never made a sound, he only stared down at Bret's pale body, blood pool below him. His skin grew clammy, pale white, and sweat fell from his brow. A woman next to him who had been pointing fingers wildly turned and noticed his odd behavior. "Are you okay?" She asked him.

He didn't acknowledge her, in fact, his symptoms grew. She said something and brought all of their attention on him, and when he noticed the dozen eyes on him, he cracked and started to cry.

"What's wrong with you?" Aaron Anduin asked him, already assuming the worst. Owen looked at him behind blank eyes and said nothing. "I believe we have our murderer, he's cracked."

Owen didn't fight them when they took him out away from their camp and put a knife in his throat. He died instantly, never saying a word.

It could be wifom, but I doubt it, for one side it didn't worked at all, he being in this position, and his disorganization was as mine a couple days ago, I also sent a night 1 order... the other game we had 2 town doctors and a doctor/scanner and a single killer, in this game we know we had 1 paranoid detective, 1 (legit) detective and 1 doctor?

The problem is two scans were carried on him, different in nature but still... I think you leave the cleared ones for the last lynching... and while I have heavy doubts about Chief Pappy, I can't discard rickinator's scans...

Honestly I don't have a clue, to me better candidates are Bsmith, perhaps Dcmort.. followed by Makrell, I-k and DF, and you the last... of course Chief Pappy and Visor are good candidates but none of them is Owen so no priority at this time.

LOL No! Its the other way around, I been a bit pushy because you are Aaron Anduin and replaced inactive Crys, and the continue barking between you and Visor is becoming tiresome and unproductive! ;)
