This situation is easily avoided if you don't clear yourself in situations where you're not cleared.

As far as I'm concerned the fact that you were publicly roleblocked at night, combined with what we know what happened, doesn't change much. Makes you more unlikely to be mafia and - putting WIFOM aside - no real change in likeliness to be cult.

I don't think it really matters in a game like this, but Sooh's post asking if El Barto = takhiss is actually a pretty sick angleshoot.

Unintentionally of course, I don't think she did that on purpose, but saying that heavily implies that she is town as in qt's El Barto's name is takhisis.

Because I don't want this to get lost in the... whatever the heck the last page-and-a-half was, I still want khaan to be the lynch.

My case on him:

Okay, putting the crypto-talk aside:

I think khaan is scum, specifically mafia.

I think he picked up on Kennigit's oddly strong accusation of me the previous phase and tried to get him lynched, picking up some cred along the way. He wouldn't push it too hard because then he'd be falling into the same trap but Kennigit did, but it was a good case in an ultimately bad round and hopefully, per him, people would pick up on it.

However, it got no traction and khaan, trusting his instincts, still had him killed at night rather than press the case. This is what twigged me. Scum khaan puts it out there, see if anyone bites, and then takes care of the problem himself. Townie khaan gets a lot more bullheaded and would have pushed the case for the next few rounds regardless of what else was going on.

To make it perfectly plain this case is little more than a personality read but I'm quite confident that it's an accurate one.

This is exactly the kind of read khaan is very good at making and this is exactly the kind of thing he'd do to respond to it.

His response:

Dang. That makes complete sense. If I was someone that wasn't me, I'd probably be all aboard that train of thought. Unfortunate. It *is* fairly accurate.

Only real defense I have for not pushing ken's lynch harder was that literally nobody even responded to my post or even acknowledged its existence, and it was fairly late into the phase so I shrugged it off and figured I'd take another run at it the next day.

Wish I had a good defense, but GH's reasoning is very correct. He's wrong, of course, but this is probably the least mad I can be about being lynched because the setup was very nicely executed.

Because I don't think GH would bother framing me this early. The kennegit kill feels like it has Pizza smeared on it to me. I'll explain my conspiracy theory in proper when I've had some time to snooze on it.

While I'm glad that khaan approves of the case if not the lynch target because I won't have to hear about it on Steamchat later today (), I can't really press this any further because I already made my case and his defense is less of an argument and more of a "good thinking but it wasn't me" type deal. Still think he's scum and it's going to have to be resolved sooner or later, preferably sooner. Preferably today.

So on further evaluation, I actually retract this statement. GH would totally take the opportunity to dunk me on day 3 just because. Doesn't mean he's mafia, necessarily. Still think it's more likely he's cult than mafia.

Also, c'mon, Visor, you know better than to claim automatic innocence like that when there's multiple factions and recruitment. Tsk tsk.

Still would like an ATPG lynch, for reasons I won't reveal.
