Eh maybe Monty is town after all

Fuck that means I haven't pushed a single scum all game then unless Barto is scum and that doesn't even count

    no shut up

you said it's better to talk to people as if they're town

then i pointed out you talk to people like they're scum all the time, and you disregarded this and said it's because you find them scummy when THAT IS NOT A PROVISION YOU ORIGINALLY STIPULATED, you just said it was better to talk to people in general as if they're town. and now you're continuing that line and saying it's better to cooperate and completely missing the point. Are you responding to me or some imaginary strawman who is asking you questions?

And I asked you WHY "scum-sided" actions didn't make monty scummy, to which you responded by saying because you don't think he's scum.

And all this after you gave monty a huge damn lecture on the importance of communication and explaining yourself clearly so please die.

    4. Are you attempting to argue that I read you as a higher scum than I said in the list? Because what I saw as your evidence for that point of view was the post in which i said that if i HAD to pick a scum from the >200 posters i would pick you

Could you restate that part of the case again, please?
This is unfortunately also true. Monty is flogging a slip here that doesn't exist.

    incorrect

    in my original post

    the one you originally quoted

i said "since i am not actively scumreading him"

in addition, in my readslist, he was in the town section

it is clear that i do not think he is >rand scum

abundantly, including in the particular post

    AS SUCH

    /goes and reads stuff

    alright

so you say hey bro your post looks like you suspect him but you are talking to him like he is town

and i say yes because it helps to talk to people as if they were town, generally speaking

then in the same post i continue to clarify and say

"since i am not actively scumreading monty and because most of my problems with the post were not necessarily that is was that scummy"

which looks like a stipulation of a provision to me

and then you say but you talk to people like they were scum before

and i say yes ofc because i had them as scumreads; i'm not scumreading monty

    as to the other part

you asked why scum-sided actions didn't make monty scummy, which should be clear from

a)i called it scum-sided instead of scummy in the first place, and said that as town OR scum it doesn't make the game better or easier to win for town, as a result the fallout benefits town more than scum, as town needs cooperation and people to treat each other in a reasonable fashion
b)and you ignore that and just take my post to mean "i think it's scummy but i don't want to call him scum

i think your points are invalid

    but meh

i also don't think it's profitable to continue this conversation, given

    here's what i said

"i mean even if you're town that post is ---------ev

please, if you want to try and get town to win and play the game in a profitable fashion

i suggest meeting people on their own terms and treating their ideas and thoughts as worth a similar amount of while as your own"

i get that the "even if you're town" could be interpreted the way in which you guys seem to have

and i have nothing really to say in response to that

    and yeah

I mean, if someone went through my own posts with a fine-toothed comb I'm sure they'd find any amount of confusion in my reads that could be used to paint me scum. It's just no one really wants to, because choxorn.

He's not, that's a representative vote. But he does seem to be back to thinking monty is town.

why the change from screaming for monty her @monstr
that was the post in which i was literally explaining to monty that i was specifically reading all the posters who had >200 posts in this game town because i thought they were towny

after i had posted a post that could have been misinterpreted to mean that i thought >200 posts was towny in and of itself

Cuth, I see what I misunderstood now. For some reason I thought that by ">200" posters you meant 'all players in game' rather than 'people who have more than 200 posts.

My umbrage regarding Monstr on page 84 was that he suddenly seemed to have a firm stand against Barto, and that the reasoning he gave after teasing the single egregious, motivating post (a post I found of no account) seemed to have nothing to do with anything, hit a number of generic notes used in casebuilding that struck me as inappropriate, and for all its verbiage compared to earlier Monstr chains came off as fabricated. In conjunction with the self-vote for Rep and bizarre statements to me, there was a gas leak that knocked us out for a few hours. We'll see how that works out eventually.

Cass wanted one of us to be the reps

She didn't say it but she secretly wants it

I also secretly think she wanted it to be me because even if she doesn't say it she's totally still freaking out about me potentially being a wolf and I guarantee you that
