The way I usually play with poisoners is that at the end of the DAY PHASE is when the poison runs out.

GeneralHankerchief's arguments against Champ. They do have a mild, yet not inconsiderably persuasive effect.

Why?

Champ's votes on seireikhaan were suspect. It was a silly way to have a runaway waggon in the first day of such a game.

And I still don't understand why you poisoned Manasi, El Barto. You don't seem to suspect her at all on day one, and if you were definitely voting for Champ, wouldn't he be a better target?

One has to play one's cards up close, given that there is an express warning that poison attacks can be prevented, and that poison can be removed. Why would I have alerted a possible mafiosa of my attack beforehand?

The poisoning of Manasi might seem like a spur-of-the-moment thing. There were many small reasons which alone wouldn't have sufficed, but there was the general tone of the lady at the time, plus one or two suspicious posts. If Manasi does turn out to be Innocent, I will accept full responsibiliy for her death.

As a matter of fact, there was some minced meat involved, but disgregated in a general way. The sauce might be considered a variation on the general alla bolognese type, but there was only one type of meat: common ground beef.

Okay as per this QT, Pizza and Barto have a discussion on the concept of breadcrumbing in the 30-50 range. Move Barto down one tier, maybe two on my list.

Who would have thought you would have brought that up? Even if it was one of my finest performances, not even I would have thought of that sequence. Yes, I was leaving a clue towards my poisoning, in case Manasi never claimed it outright and I had then to claim it and accuse Manasi.

This is the most dangerous Barto. Generally his tone is somewhere in between, this is far more serious than I would expect. We'll see what happens, but it is cause for concern imo. Though I wouldn't call it inherently scummy, more observation is needed.

My tone, as you should have realised, comes from the decision to play in character. Since part of the reason for the unfortunate lynching of seireikhaan appears to be that he wasn't posting in character, to post in character should, one hopes, vindicate him.

Given that my death would prove conclusively that I am an Innocent and my ability has already been spent, I am willing to make such a sacrifice, if needed. More information will be gathered by the right-thinking Innocents and a successful conclusion might be reached.

As has already been pointed out, I first tried to draw Manasi out on this, but she (allegedly) hadn't read her night results and then she has consistently misrepresented things. Insisting, again, on the lack of a need to read her communications from the game host in order to know what they mean.
