I'm honestly disappointed to be towning this game btw
I've only wolfed in 1 turbo this year, that's all my wolf games
I thought this would be a good time and place to practice some wolfing!

i guess it doesn't feel that way to me because the circumstances surrounding my posting in that game and this game is v different (this game much slower and i was much more busy at the start - other game very active and copypasta heavy and i was able to be more active)

but its possible that my posting came off a certain way regardless later, just feel like i haven't done anything of note so far

no opinion on vulgard and lapras so far (would like lapras to out their alt, i think i know them but not real interested in giving reads on them if they are gonna give meta reads on others as an alt lol)

As I survey the people around me I take note of a familiar name. Visor, a man from a place down under as I recall. We did good work together once upon a time masquerading as witches together, and another he had me dancing to a tune all his own until another detective awoke me from my dazed state. I have never seen Visor as a Detective, but he appears at ease among his peers here. It puts me at ease to see him this way, if only a little.

Vulgard makes his presence known soon after, asking soft questions and showing Lapras that being a majestic dual typed generation one Pokemon will not save them from his gaze. Except, what does this man hope to accomplish by saying all those words which amount to nothing but air at the end of it all? To take a take a stand against another in this deadly game of ours should take commitment, and when we set our sights on another with intent it should be with purpose. When I look into Vulgard’s post I do not see purpose, but only words.

As I look at how Lapras responds to Vulgard, and how Vulgard responds to Lapras, I cannot help but feel a sense of feeling each other out to some degree. There is a dance at play here. I don’t rightly know whose side these strangers dane for, but what I gather from this conversation is that there is nothing coordinated here between them.

I catch Illario chastising Robyn and I can’t help but to bitterly agree that this is not someone who is obvious in any way. He is a man I have crossed paths with twice, and both times my paranoia led to an innocent man being sent to the gallows for crimes only real to the fervent mind of a desperate detective. I once attended a baseball game in Chicago, and in that game they have a saying: three strikes and you are out. If Illario is one of the people who have snuck into this meeting of the minds I can only hope I have the courage and tenacity to face my past. For now, much like Visor, he appears at ease.

Robyn admits to the room that they have been lying through their teeth the entire time. This is as surprising to me as the Sun rising in the East. Robyn has always possessed a formidable and ambitious mind, and I have been led to believe recently this mind has blossomed in the art of subterfuge. Yet, I have seen how they dazzle when left to their own devices even for a day or two when in the role of detective. It would be a shame to see them go before the mystery picks up in intrigue.

The room seems eager to discuss Raskolnikov to various degrees. Unlike the above names, I have not the faintest clue of who this person is or how they may deceive or aid me. Raskolnikov, what would you say is your greatest asset to your faction as both alignments? What is it that you do best?

My eyes are starting to close of their own accord, and soon I will need to leave this world of the waking and allow the stream of time to pass me by. The last thing I will say is in my experience those that post wistfully about wishing to be against the majority instead of their chosen lot tend to be honest more often than seems probable. We shall see if this Wisdom of the crowd proves to be trustworthy.

For now, I must retire after a long day of journeying through the land of Azeroth with my adventuring friends. When Snorlax and I awake, we shall delve deeper into the mysteries that await us in this game.

Being tonally good as a wolf. (I can powerwolf or just buss hard, no rule there, but I am not that good at woofing while I think I am a decent townie).

Any of the people I discussed, save perhaps the best water/ice type to be invented, can tell you more about me if you wish to see varied perspectives on me as a detective.

I am willing to extend you a small bit of trust, as I suspect most combinations of three people that make up the informed minority would be able to pinpoint just who I am and your reaction felt earnest.

It isn't the lack of push but the amount of words to have a lack of a push. Felt like you were forcing yourself to jump start.

i'm not super attached to these reads though because like i said there are still people who haven't posted or done anything ai fmpov and i don't feel like the game has really kicked off

the illario read really boils down to him finding robyn's think about faking their reads wolfy because i really don't think it's wolfy in context and it's the sort of thing wolves would latch onto fmpov

i was just town against him as scum and his thoughts weren’t half as good and the tone is just different here. i will eventually verify but that + illario tr, and my own read of lapras/vulgard v/v makes for a townread

maybe I'll just explain what I was trying to do

basically, the fact you called Robyn's townreads a stretch made me wonder if you were saying that because you thought Robyn was forcing reads in RVS as a wolf, or because you were trying to prevent early (good) reads from a villager taking hold

the way in which you called Robyn's reads a stretch made me suspicious because I thought it was tonally wolfy, but since my tonal reads are terrible, I didn't want to rely on that, so I asked a question about your comment

the problem is that I asked the question in such a way that your answer doesn't really help me determine what you were motivated by, lol. gut instinct on your initial post is still "wolf," your response could come from both alignments
