I haven't had a D1 quite like this in a long, long time.

    Wagons are

    3 Rask/Monty
    2 Syn/Bart

    Only Kage not voting/posting.

I'll only be back for EOD hour, so don't go too crazy uWu.

    Can you explain why?

If i stop posting it means i went to sleep

Feel like the good stuff will happen last 2ish hours of today but i def wont be awake for it

I am warming up to Sui, maybe i am just falling for their good tone but their posting seems okay

I feel like i should be concerned about rask (and maybe i am) but their SoD was still good enough that i dont wanna vote them today

His 166 and 167 felt a bit more natural? Looking back there's not a huge reason why and scum could definitely feel a bit more natural as they settle in from early awkwardness, but I liked I liked the scary mind meld with a catch response to taffy and your read's posts, and I liked the bit about bracing himself for humiliatingly misreading ender or kage.

So, yeah not enough to go this guy is town, but enough for me to consider that I might just be confused by his earlier approach.

i don't have a lot of experience with monty besides getting stomped in a game on CFC years ago, but I associate his analytical approach with genuine solving, and I don't feel there is genuine solving involved here. they're smart-sounding posts for the sake of appearing smart. there isn't really much you can do on d1, tbf, but that's why you just go with vibes instead of milking a rock for all it's worth

I don't have an answer to the associations question since creating worlds on d1 is lame-o spaghetti-o (pls ignore my el barto post thanks)
dunno this all feels extremely reachy

in particular "stayed up specifically to spam copypastas" is a big nothing, beyond that your sole point is he is townreading you which is not terribly convincing

im not necessarily asking about worldviews but montys whole game basically has been built around criticizing rask and it feels like ur not actually trying to analyze what hes saying so much as you decided to call him scum on page 1 and then use any reason to justify it, i would expect a townie to try to reduce cognitive dissonance there but it looks like a very vague generic attack rather than anything based on his actual content

It's D1 and I'm playing with a bunch of people who have never played with me before, from experience my expectation is to get pushed.

All of you cannot be experts in reading awkward lowposters. And mostly I'm trying to push Visor for a read but well...

what are you seeing with syn that i'm not

tammy hates wolfing and everytime i've seen jan draw wolf in a mash he's phoned it in. obviously vastly different game environments but for someone who has been semi-retired for a long time he seemed eager to get into the thick of it in a way that is way more likely town

Rask is probably town btw. Not just a tone read.

I didn't say this before now because I liked people voting/talking about em and wanted to see if that gathered any further info, but I had the read from... page 2 probably.

Oh I thought you were referring to them as misyeet bait in general, as in it's par for the course for them, and I was wondering why you had expectations that they should know that. Well Syn would make sense, but it looks like it's Jan's first game here, so you putting that expectation there felt odd. But you were just referencing low-hanging fruit in terms of their posting, so that makes a bit more sense.

I've also pushed on Monty and you didn't include that in the reasoning why you scum read me, so I didn't know if you were including Monty in your misyeet bait list.

Mashes are just there to phone it in while you chat with friends.
I think my last normal game was the thing earlier this year and Wiggles Breaking Bad anon game the year before.

(But if you ppl want to play some blood on the Clocktower I am always down to clown).

Anyway I am not certain how I would play this game as wolf. My play normally is dictated a lot more by my mood but I tend to get exhausted in mashes as a wolf.

    Vote: Rask
This vote is still the worst. Justifications and also completely weirdly at odds with the tone of it. Even acknowledges it might be a copypasta.

I think I'll ignore if Monty was in the game or not because I can't be bothered to go remember which game it was to check. And also I forget things all the time so I can't *really* fault Monty if he just plain forgot that post.

This reaction to being called out about his post tho feels kinda off. Like a "Why single out meee!" kind of statement.

These are his only posts in thread so far, he cares more about how his vote is perceived than adding to any other content.

The next post is a meme response to my meme response which was... funny enough I guess but not the point.

    And then again:

No, I was making generic analysis and forgot that Cuth was a setup reviewer.

I like holstering ousts, or whatever. It puts a pep in my step.
Monty's actual game talk has been (into page 3 already) only about his vote.

    I'm asking an innocent question.
And again. I'm actually curious when he makes his first read/talk/whatever that isn't about the vote.

Then finally on page 6 he comments about posts other than the vote. (Which is already over half the day done.)

A lot of it is vague statements with a statement he has no "strong reads" and a pockety statement about "mindmelding scarily with a catch" with Taffy. (Notably the wolfreads didn't contain Rask. He makes no statement about this.)

I'll note that if I remember right I also townread Monty early on that game.

Not a strong argument but a dissimilarity to here.

And that's about all of Monty's posts.

Like idk about you but I'm not feeling like Monty cares about solving this game aside from making sure his vote doesn't look bad. He hasn't even tried to push on Rask. He's made more comments about how Rask reads his vote than that.

Good luck getting as much effort about any of my other reads this phase.

My other sort of scumread rn is Jan.

Sui gets a townread for their bubbly approach to making reads. (This is not a pocket I swear.)

I promise to review this read on...

    *Checks smudged writing on hand.*

Day 3, because their style of play also strikes me as one I'll probably townread.
