I have a comment on the gemma prods that is sitting in the back of my head waiting to mature for a little while before it can actually walk.

Cape is doing weird busywork. The moment I read turbometa I just skipped the entire paragraph tbh.
Could be a copy/paste for all I know. (it clearly is not based on reactions)

The attempt to start conversation is not as clumsy as cuth but more pointless tbh.

And Baudib seems to have some idea brewing. I think it is a cape wolfread and I do have popcorn prepared just in case.

Okay I have my concerns here

Lemme outline what's being said here about me because it's a mess

-Jan calls me out for doing weird busy work
-Says it could be a copy/paste
-Go back to the part where Jan talks about me talking about turbo meta
-Now the copy/paste accusation makes no sense
-Says in the next line it's an attempt to start conversation
-If it's a copy/paste, how is it an attempt to start a conversation? (Okay I know there was another part of the post where i give reads and stuff but still)

That pretty much outlines my issues with Jan's post.

Also the Gemma comment kinda pinged me here so i included it (I could be overthinking that part though).

Cape’s style is completely different in turbos and mashes.
I can see a world where W!Benneh or W!Dya uses “I can’t really read Cape” as an excuse to use kind of throw their hands up and encourage pushes on him. Can also see W!Cape trying to sow distrust among strong villagers, but I’m not quite sure that’s his wolfing style.

I’m not inclined to go there today when he’s seemingly generating more mafia related content than anyone else so far.

If you want a hottish take, the wolf sitting back and watching with glee here could be Jan.

several things

cape is assuming I'm going to push him on not being good at reading him and his case is based on this but I haven't done that. I've literally just said it's hard for me to read him.

Which leads to the next thing, where he's leaving out all the village games where I've said the same thing and just cherry picked the wolf games to prove his point.

All in all I didnt have a read on him until his bad case and push and now I think he's ACTIVELY being wolfy.

Also like...I came here to have a chill time and my entrance was met with like 2-3 people on my case immediately. Not really the vibe I was looking for guys

I am not expecting you to push me, I was making the point of

1. You can read me, you have been inconsistent at it, but as town you clearly have your gears turning with me.
2. I think dismissing the read on me as like "oh cape isn't an easy read for me" is sketch and I have seen mafia do similar because "cape is so polarized and i cant possibly read him". But as I said, that's assuming you would do what wolves do and not try to read me in good faith, which you already honestly have a leg up in right now and it's worrying me.

here's my issue with gemma

she's not done anythihng at all, which is OK in a vacuum, not many of us have, but she's been around and participating but it feels like all of her posts are being handled with kid gloves



a pretty benign post overall but looking back it feels a little pockety



this one just really doesn't feel helpful at all and the main reason i voted last night. although it was light. but she doesn't really seem interested in the conversation or helping resolve it. its a weird pokey post



idk just feels out of place in response to my post. at this point theres meat and bones for gemma to pick at and respond to but she continues with periphery overtures and what feels like blowing my post way out of proportion (also applies if this was actually @ cape's post)


this post was what really sold me last night from just an initial wolfy lean to pretty solidly wolfy because its both such an exagerration of what i've express int he thread, it indicates she's not really reading my posts to cape because all i ever did was call his opener wolfy and then had a 2-post back and forth with him

it also feels very "stoke the fire-y" because of that

1. It's whatever, backs up Gemma's TR on me

2. I don't really get this point against Gemma, though it's not a particularly towny post either. I am confused with though like, what would be "helping" in that situation with Gemma's post, like if you were in Gemma's shoes, what would you say?

3. Eh, yeah it's tonally odd, reminds me of the thing i pinged baud about at the start of the game, which also means "meh"

4. Already talked about this pinging me for basically the same reason.

Now if we are looking at there being only 2 mafia this game, I think things will be interesting if I become a main push because I feel like both the mafia people should be on the same page regarding their EOD pushes to maximize their chance of winning, and Gemma/dyachei are on opposite sides when it comes to me. If both are w/w the chances of me dying to a wagon right now are lessened because of this.
That is to say in that particular scenario Demma/dya are less likely w/w. I could be overthinking this again :p, also it's mostly a kinda pointless tinfoil rn... probably, like would put more stock here if it was like day 3/4 or whatever

Since nobody ever bothered to ask a single question about my very early readslist I will tell you because your conclusion is just weirdly lazy.

I thought nobody had done anything of actual value at the time of the list and sorted by small stuff to see a. how bad it is postgame and b create content.

the small stuff for cape and baudib was that both of them really did their own thing and did not care about anything else happening early.
No attempt to look good was made. You could argue both of them purposefully attempted to look bad.


And cuths question to dya just felt like somebody trying to look good by asking a question that looks useful but really is nothing.

Dya on the other hand got some points for basically not caring about cuths questions.

Mikroreads basically and nothing of importance.

The other 3 were firmly null. I just put a space between gemma and ben/you to be a nuisance.


I was very amused that my microreads/bullshit lists from early on was then more or less the same list that visor gave 12 hours later.

Been unsuccessful with trying to find turbos we shared though, which would maybe be more of an apt comparison just because of how early it is into this game.

Okay whatever, so they found me scummy in a completely different game state when it was literally day 2 at that point and a lot more has come out. But this hedginess doesn't resonate with what I have seen from them, and I am curious about benneh's take on that since both of them have hydra'd multiple times together.

i don't have an opinion on dya not having an opinion on you yet. i'm not sure why they should other than you mentioning them not responding to #26 but i don't really know if they would anyway. we are good friends but not attached at the hip--they don't highly investigate everythhing i do, nor I them, and especially not in the first couple dozen posts of the game

I'm reading this as you telling Cape it's unreasonable of him to expect Dyachei to have commented on your post (a sentiment I agree with btw) which feels like a defense to me. As in, you don't have a read on Dyachei yourself, but you think Cape's reason for scumreading them is far-fetched. Which I see as a subtle defense.
