I found a wonderful site with 120 cool and creative ways to say hello and I am going to use them all (or die trying).
This one made me feel a bit like Steve Buscemi which is how I felt about Newcombs last post for some reason. I was ~fine with his other posts but that one gave me fellow kids vibes.

The syn villa reads are weird. Syn will be readable and there is no reason to force it this early.

im not gonna actually do anything about either right now but the two pings for me are "if its not gh, lolknights" by knights and "one of those games where 0-1 wolves have posted so far" or w/e newcomb said. like i think the first is something more likely to be added on by a wolf whereas a villager just stops at "if its gh i think the opening is wolfy cause its similar to what he just opened as in anni" and the newcomb one is just a.) something i say as a wolf cause i think it sounds villagery and never really think as a villager and b.) a lot of people had posted already so like, are we realllly thinking 0-1 wolves have posted instead of woofs just knowing how to not out themselves in shitpost openers?

Wisdom’s insistence that stett’s opening was prewritten is kind of wolfy to me but I can’t figure out why yet.

i agree, but i think i can explain it, ymmv. i think it was cause it was an odd segue onto a topic that was somewhat ... irrelevant anyway? like the idea that it was something of inherent value that sheep/knights didn't pick up on and point out is the wolfy part to me, because why did they have to think that was the case? what value or interest is gleaned from either of those players just taking stett's post as off the cuff. it seemed like a bunch of casual shade thrown onto ppl for making gut reads/leans which is the wolfy part to me

my only guess was the timing of stett's post could have made wisdom think this, but reading it in 'real-time' that wasn't something that occurred to me cause it was a pretty ~whatever post beyond being tonally towny and i didnt think much of anyone else reading into that post either

I feel like Newcomb gets voted pretty easily when he hasn't ~done much. I helped vote em out last game we played when I was wolf and they were town on D1. (Though it was a wild EOD to be fair.)

Can you talk to me about why Newcomb is there in your sus list? (To be clear I very much think Newcomb has done nothing I'd consider reading them on yet.)

I must have genuinely read exactly the wrong newcomb games in the past if that is true. I found them all very inspiring from d1 on. (At least in theory, in practice I still remained myself after consuming them for some reason).

I've heard Prime Variant Newcomb has a low appearance rate. Most pulls these days get Tired Newcomb, a much lower rarity player.
