Methinks that someone is messing around with the ability to leave messages signed by other people. I didn't send that to Beefy.

Defensive FoSing now? My, you really are digging yourself in deeper. What I was saying was that you had not problem with voting someone earlier, yet then you decided to abstain. I couldn't understand the change of heart and you have yet to explain it.

Well, YOU seem to want them to die I just moved my votes around so this way it was a tie, no matter what.....because once again......a 1 in 17 chance does not sit well with me

Edit: and with no evidence to boot....

Is this like a big clue? Maybe we should try to look into the meaning of the letter.

You haven't explained why you were comfortable with voting for someone at first and then abstaining in the first round. This means you avoid gaining the wrath of anyone and fly under the radar - a perfect mafia strategy.

Why should I vote for anyone unless it leads to a lynch? I don't like how you seem to think I am dodging the question....other people also abstained.....I just wanted no one to get lynched for nothing...(1 in 17 is too low yet.....but the weird post that says CA is MORE suspicious) stop trying to use me as a scapegoat....

Neither suggests much in the way of clues to me, other than the fact that both the letter and the graffiti have grammatical errors :D

Does anyone have any suspicions as to who may have written either the graffiti or the letter, simply based on the style of the writing?

Relax, no need to get upset.

I think CA just wants to know why you a) first voted for someone and by doing so, apparently didn't see any harm in lynching somebody; b) voted abstain, saying that it's best not to lynch anyone round 1.

So, either a) you explain to us the apparent sudden change of heart or b) you explain (preferably in simple, clear words, don't forget I'm alredy 30, ergo old, senile and (very) slow ) to us what we are misunderstanding/why your vote for a suspect followed by an unvote and "abstain because I don't want to lynch round 1" are not contradicting themselves and thus why your abstain vote was not a sudden change of heart in your opinion.

The thing is, it not so difficult use different stylez on purposes. I Wouldn't try reading too much in it...

Hmmm, a public message like that looks like someone trying to pin suspicion away from themselves onto CA.

And, I'm having a bit of difficulty getting a read on some of the newer players. Some unusual playing styles so far.

In my personal opinion, we should totally ignore anything sent by the letter system.

I can't even figure out how to convincingly send a lying letter to mess up the mafia. The fact is, it makes sense for two mafia families or the mafia and the serial killer to coordinate their strategy. The investigator can send his results via the letter system, but I would still be highly suspect of anyone using the letter system. Letters are the easiest thing in the world to forge and there's anonymity. Anyone trying to contact the investigator or claiming to be the investigator should be suspect, but with no identity behind the message, there are no consequences.

Private messaging accomplishes much the same thing as the letter, but you can at least know who is really talking to you.

CA could have sent it himself, trying to get town to think someone is falsely implicating him, or someone could have forged it. I see no other likely scenario. I doubt that anyone really knows who anyone really is yet, except for the mafia.

    Let's not be too gullible.

Well, if sudden PC troubles were the reason for YLC to quit and said troubles are unexpectedly already resolved, then I wouldn't object to YLC's resurrection.

It's Beefy's call of course. After all, the host is God in his game.

Interesting you would say so, Andres.

Not because I would mind having YLC back in the game, but because your saying so makes it appear as though you would also be comfortable with the idea. If it works, you gain credibility, if it doesn't, you lose nothing.

This smells like you're bluffing, to be sure. I have my FOS on you.

a)I tied it up at first *check earlier posts and tally's* and b) I am not on 24/7 and I didn't notice Aries changed his vote to save himself EVEN though I said I would do everything in my power to see them lynched.....but then Yoyoma kinda cooled me down by saying "Aries has died in the first round in three Mafias...." and thought OK then as long as it is tied......by then, Quintus saved himself I think.

I'm justing have a little suspcision about YLC right now. I'm sure his WOG wasn't on purpose since he pulled out of the Golden rule as well, but now his back; is there any possiblity that his role should be changed after ressurection, if he was innocent then his WOG sort of proves his innocence since no mafia would get WOG'ed that easily in the first round. That would make him a good target for the mafia perhaps.

I hate to say it aloud, because it makes me sound like scum, but in all seriousness, bring brought back from a WOG is patently unfair to the mafia because he is a proven innocent.

    Here's my thoughts about YLC

He is probably innocent, if he does get ressurected then that pretty much proves that he's innocent.
    3 things that might happen:
    1) YLC gets brought back, because of his innocence status he is likely to be targeted by the mafia and won't survive for long
    2) YLC gets his role changed, which would help him to survive for a while or turn him into mafia (turncoat, though very unlikely)
    3) YLC was mafia, the WOG was a trick and now he can use that as evidence for his innocence. (Even more unlikely)

    So YLC is innocent... probably.

Yep, actually in my Lunar Whale mafia I WoG'ed a mafia on night 2 because he was inactive, and replaced him with Warmaster Horus. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the name of that player, because he hasn't played another game since.

EDIT: Now I remember (more likely... I remembered there was a link on my sig ), it was Tiberius of the Drake. But no, I actually didn't resurrect him, so I guess the whole point is moot!

    Usually dead people stay dead.

However, when YLC or Askthepizzaguy are involved, the dead are usually pretty dangerous.
