I don't see what's so "religion" about it when it's very concretely rendering my winter clothes unnecessary, and has been for a fair while now.

Just because the overwhelming evidence is that all climate change threads degenerate into baiting and bad temper - leading to a rapid and uncontrollable submergence of intellectual endeavour under a roiling wave of mud, doesn't mean to say it isn't possible to debate the subject intelligently.
Sadly, this is not an instance that bucks the trend.
