Whats he supposed to do stop the game if one side keeps scoring or start not counting the winning teams points... ?

Ok, actually having read it now, I agree with every word of Khaan's. This guy was a total dick and it's really nothing like the little leaguer story.

There's a difference between playing to win and beating the snot out of an inferior team when you have already won by a mile.

For example; I don't hate Pete Carroll despite the record beating his team laid on my college's team - because he put in his second and third string players and it was obvious that after a while he wasn't trying to get more points.

But this guy runs up the score on purpose against a partially disabled team and refuses to apologize.

It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder

Eh, I've played on teams that never one a game and teams that won almost every game. When you win most games you hate to lose but when you always lose you really don't care. If I was on the team that lost 100-0 I could care less. I doubt it was the players that were embarrassed.

That's funny, nowhere does it say that he is a private detective.. Anyway, I agree with the lady's sentiment that this gentlemen deserves a kick up his private eye.

What should he do? Ask them to play bad on purpose? Is that honourable?

The other team are playing to prove that despite their problems they are there to fight. They do not need pity. They need sympathy and encouragement. They are normal people.

How do you think they will feel if they are told that other teams are practically asked to play badly against them?

One day they might win or the might not. If they do it is 100% vital that they know they did it themselves and not because they other team played to lose.

    I completely agree.

I heard certain people don't like it when you go easy on them just because you are better since they feel degraded that way.
Then again some people are hypocrats and others can't set up a decent league...

Myself, I usually ended up in the girls' teams along with some other guys in highschool, well there are pros and cons about that and team sports aren't really my thing anyway, but I survived that and it's better to play on your level than just stand around while the pros play around, like i said, some people can't set up a decent league...

    1. I will never, ever understand the nonsense of the US sports system for junior players... I honestly can't see why anyone would care so much about something so irrelevant.
    2. I'm not sure what the case here.... What does "running up the score" mean? Cheating? Did he play himself, or what?
Still maintain that crying on the pitch should warrant a 3 match ban

He could instruct his team to allow the shot clock to run out without his team taking a shot. Grinding an obviously over-matched opponent into the hardwood floor shows a lack of integrity, good sportsmanship, and class. He is unfit to be a teacher of children if that's his style.
The league should drop the Dallas Academy to a lower division to better match their skill level.
