Hello all! I saw the new game, decided to check it out. So I am considering joining, because KotR was fun (And after reading the Rules this is similar, very, coincidentally.)

I need to install Stainless Steel though; does this require Kingdoms, or is it okay just with patched M2TW? And is there any more room for me? I would love to join.

Nope, no need for Kingdoms. SS 4.1 is the last version that was released for M2TW without Kingdoms, which is why we use it. You should find all the info on installation here. We'll help you out if you have any problems.

Welcome CV, Should not be a problem you may have a choice of a family member coming of age (some have been reserved) but there are a few coming in to play or an RBG that can be recruited by TC. We just have the turn held for a player vs player scenario. Once that is completed the turn will move ahead and you can see what you can pick from in the next turn.

Welcome! Yes, I killed off all the extra RBGs yesterday. No big loss though, as most of the interesting ones had already been taken. The three Komnenos boys (nephews of the current Basileus) are about to come of age. The middle one, Ioannis, is already reserved for Ignoramus, but the oldest (Evmathios) and youngest (Appollonas) are still up for grabs. I think Evmathios will spawn next turn, and Appollonas 2-3 turns after him. You can reserve one of them if you want a family member. Otherwise, I will queue up 5 RBGs for you to pick from. They will spawn on the next turn, which will hopefully be Monday or Tuesday, due to a temporary game pause for a PvP battle.

If that's how it is then I think I will take Appollonas. I'll decide on where to start when he comes of age, if that's okay. Until then I shall gorge myself on the stories and political layout of this game.

Sounds good. I'm not sure of the timing, but it is possible Appollonas won't have spawned by the time we get to the upcoming Senate session which is also a couple turns away. If he doesn't, you have my permission to still post and vote as him with the rank of Strator during the Senate session.
