Gentleman I Believe in three things

    1.Jesus
    2.Whiskey
    3.'Merica

In that order The Carolina panthers on Madden 09 get an honorable mention as no one on my floor can stop me.
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Virgil Caine is the name, and I served on the Danville train,
'Til Stoneman's cavalry came and tore up the tracks again.
In the winter of '65, We were hungry, just barely alive.
By May the tenth, Richmond had fell, it's a time I remember, oh so well,

The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, and the bells were ringing,
The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, and the people were singin'. They went
La-a, La, La, La, La, La,
La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La,

By any chance, are you throwing up into a toilet, thereby seeing your own reflection? Because in that case, I've seen dead people, too... many times. ...Too many times.

    I was just wondering…

Can anyone out side the EU or even in the UK find Stroh 80. Its Rum, sort of…

You can mix it in anything and it tastes great. Its not all that expensive and it is 80%

    That is 160 proof…

If you can find it, you should try it…

    no joke!

I've never heard of it. Barcardi makes "151" which is 75.5% alcohol. It tastes like paint thinner though.

My dad had some of that but he already emptied it, over the years, not at once.

You are right about Barcardi But Stroh 80 is not like that.

As I said it is fortified Rum. It is dark Rum with extra alcohol and a bit of rum flavor added.

    http://www.stroh.co.uk/stroh/start.htm

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stroh

Wiki explains why this is the case.

However, the effect is that if you pour a bit into hot water and add sugar you already have hot buttered rum. It makes the very best Feuerzungenbowle because it burns so well and tastes good.

Use it in any way you would use dark rum. But remember it is supercharged…
