I've subscribed yesterday (Albukhshi).

nice videos, but the battle between Baktri (you), and Makedonia was what's got me concerned. you were very good, losing only around 250 men, but the Makedonian commander made no sense: he could have loured you in with the phalanx, and surrounded the phalanx quick, but instead he launched a series of unfocused and sporadic attacks, none of which were of course capeable of breaking your line..

Yeah I know, why not engage the phalanx with the phalanx? Afterwards he did say that he hadnt played much before. It was a pretty boring battle really. I could probably have won just by standing still and letting him run his men a unit at a time into my frontline.

I kept thinking he was setting an elaborate trap for me (like the one you describe above), but unfortunately not - otherwise things would have been much more interesting.

I played him again, this time i used Rome (post marian) and he used pretty much the same army and he was a little better, this time attacking me (i'll post it up when i can).

What about people sending you their replays of the battle and you do the commentary thing with someone else or even interview the opponents about the battle?

Nice idea, it would defo be much more interesting to discuss with someone. But i don't see how this will work practically. Given that its pretty hard to find people to play online

, i reckon finding the time to then talk about the game (via skype or the like??) would be asking to much of people.

but thanks for the idea, if it could be done without loads of hassle then i'd do it

Not sure if you meant for that to be harsh, but it came off that way to me. I watched several of the battles and enjoyed the commentary and don't share the same opinion as John-117 with regards to the quality.

Heh, I love your videos gentlemanjohn! They are not of best video quality, true, and I do suppose that the graphics are low end, but heck, I will watch anything that has EB in it!! And sadly, there are not that many EB videos on YouTube, not to mention much of the stuff there is not as nearly as interesting as yours, as it is either devoid of continuous battle such as yours or the perspective from which the battle is viewed is horrible.

Campaign battles and especially MP game commentaries are my absolute favourites. I also subscribe to schlappi, ClunytheScourage and PrinceofMacedon just like you. Oh, and yes, I subscribed to you as well. My YouTube avatar is the same as the .Org one.

Keep up the great work! May the spirit of PrinceofMacedon watch over you
