I hope the choices are simple enough for everyone to know where they fit.

umm....it is a straight forward poll that seeks to gauge the opinions of Americans on the Obama administration. The questions are almost identical to very similar poll that I put up about Former President Bush during a discussion about him. Is there some hillarious spelling mistake I am missing maybe?

The funny thing is your votes

lol, just letting you know where I stand.

Seriously though, this thread is just for the poll, not a discussion of how people vote, or the sidesplitting laughter said votes cause you.

I laughed as well, I'll be honest.
Also, one of those questions made me scratch my head:
People who critise Obama all do so because they are hateful, afraid, and often uneducated.
Most people who critise Obama do so for legitimate reasons, and not out of hate, fear, or ignorance.
The difference here is important - I would disagree with both statements because the word "all" in the first statement, by definition, means that no other option is plausible. I believe there are educated people who criticise Obama legitimately (Including some of the people on this site), but on the other hand I believe that there are a lot of people who do so without actually knowing what they are talking about. The same was true of Bush.

A good point, could the mods make that 'Most' in both choices please. Sorry for the discrepancy, it was not intentional.
EDIT: What the question means to ask is 'most' CA, as a quantitative answer would not be possible or feasible for someone to give. I hope you understand.
Obama. Bad.

Even with that one removed, I still deem your poll close to push-polling.
Directly stemming from the Conservative discourse are the questions about 'country first', 'experience and competence', and the description of 'People who critise Obama all do so because they are hateful, afraid, and often uneducated. Most people who critise Obama do so for legitimate reasons, and not out of hate, fear, or ignorance.'
'If it turns out rumours about Obama eating white babies during daily prayers to Mecca are true, would you:
a) continue to support Obama's anti-American activities?
b) work actively towards covering it up together with the Democratic Party?
c) stop supporting Obama?'

umm...not at all. Yeah, they are mostly conservative criticisms about him, but then again most criticisms about him are made by conservatives. The point is to find out whether you agree with those conservative criticisms or not.
There is a direct negative answer for each criticism that does not force you to say something against Obama.
And JAG, please read my first post about saving discussion on the issues for other threads. Thanks.
I am saddened by the lack of the
Gah! option, a trend that has been growing these past couple of years.
Vuk, I was taking the piss because the poll - as others have pointed out - is as artificially skewed as you can make it, while keeping a hint of a straight face. Republican pollsters should take note, you are their next push pollster.

umm...how so? There are choices, do you think that Obama's policies are bad or good. Should I have both the options "Do you think Obama's policies are good?"? I mean come on, you simply say that you agree with his policies or not. If you do not have an opinion (which I would have a hard time believing :P), then you do not vote! How exactly is it 'artificially skewed'? There was one mistake, which was caught, and I clarified what I meant and have requested that the mods change it.

Sas, Rhyf, Khan, please don't #$%$ with my poll. If you are US citizens, then by all means give honest answers. If you do not agree with the poll or you only want to start trouble, please don't %$#@ with it. I am looking for good data here (or as good as can be collected on an internet forum).

People who critise Obama most do so because they are hateful, afraid, and often uneducated.
Most people who critise Obama do so for legitimate reasons, and not out of hate, fear, or ignorance.
If you wanted a serious poll, then you shouldn't have slanted questions like this. ^^^ I think neither are they hateful, afraid, uneducated, nor question out of legitimacy.
Pretty clearly, the left-ish side of the .org isn't touching the poll because of the slant. Try again.

You can agree with someone's foreign policy and disagree with it at the same time.
Sorry, Vuk, but none of your poll options reflect my thoughts or positions. Pass.

Why is that Lemur? Overall you neither agree or disagree with his foriegn policy? With his economic policy? Sorry, I just don't see how I could have worded it in any other way to make it fairer. Right now it gauges those with an opinion, but not those without.
@Khan, I made one mistake in wording which has already been fixed by MY request. If you feel that you do not agree with either choice in a particular question, you can skip that question and answer the ones you do have an opinion on.
EDIT: Thanks BG, and thanks for fixing the spelling. I have been spelling like a teenage girl recently. :P

I find it impossible to answer them because I agree with some of what Obama does, and disagree with some of what he does. Most polls allow you to choose a range of opinions (1 = agree strongly, 2 = agree, 3 = neutral, 4 = disagree, 5 = disagree strongly; this is a common formulation on opinion polls). I'm not comfortable
completely backing Obama's economic policy or
completely disagreeing with it.
Likewise, your question about those who oppose his policies—some people have honest disagreements of policy, some are insane nutballs, and some are just making political hay. It varies. And sometimes it's a mixture of motivations. But by your poll, I'm supposed to either bless them all as logical patriots or damn them all as insane racists hacks. Neither option makes any sense to me.
I'm not trying to be difficult,
Vuk.

Well, I mean do you overall like them or not. For instance, if on your scale you would be a 4-5, then you like them. If you would be a 1-3, then you do not. There are not enough poll options for me to do something that complicated, and I really wanted simple answers. Of course when I said I disagreed with his social policies I did not mean everything that he did, but overall. If you were to say you don't like a politician's policies because of one thing, then no one would like any politician. There is no politician who agree with completely. Take Palin as an example. I do not agree with her on several things, still if this poll were about her, I would have answered that overall I agree with her economic plan. I am not asking for you to explain it out, just to give simple answers. If you do not feel comfortable with that though, you do not have to.
As for the question on what you think about people who disagree with Obama though, I meant much the same thing. Do you think that most of these people who oppose him (people at Tea Parties and such) are doing it out of hate or ignorance, or out of logical objections. Believe it or not, but I know lots of people who are of the opinion that everyone who disagrees with Obama IS ignorant or illogical. I realise that it may be hard to answer either way on this question if you are not sure, which is why you can skip it.
Sorry that I could not make it any better.
Hey, polls are good fun, don't be too hard on yourself. I'm just too ambivalent about too many of these questions to answer yea or nay. Take economic policy: The correct poll question for me would be, "I hope Obama and the Keynesian economists are right, 'cause if they're wrong we just blew a mountain of money to no purpose, and there's gonna be hell to pay." But I don't have a deep enough economic background to pretend I know whether they're right or wrong. Time will tell. (And honestly, the only people who are absolutely sure about this issue have ideological axes to grind. Everybody else seems as befuddled as me.)
Maybe I should go the Sasaki route, and just click off everything.

lol, the reason I think his policy is not gonna work is 'cause of what I know about the economy. That influences my ideology, not the otherway around, so I cannot agree with you on that. Nah though, if you do not want to take it, just please do not take it. :P

Bollox , then again since I fall outside of the parameters set by the OP this post don't count and neither does my votes.
Took a look, voted with a deep pain in my gut. It's simply black and white, "Do you think Obama does not have a good foreign policy?" "Does Obama have a good foreign policy?". I oted both on a number of points, simply because there are aspects I agree and disagree with.
As said before, I was dissapointed.
Though I LOVE the fact names are kept so I can see, to my non existant shock, who voted for what.

Don't really like the guy (well don't really care most of the time), but I do think that a lot of the people who "hate" him are doing it out of "hate" or "ignorance".
The questions are hard to answer. I only was able to answer a couple. Some I don't know or care enough, some are too black and white.
