@ CP
You are using it to fight one more battle, check the Reports thread. I recruited TCV another one, so I guess I'll end up disbanding it, let me do it-I'll ask TCV about it.

Thank you for offering your help.
I would need:
* Famous battle information(Who fought? Where? Outcome, year and a link to that battles report)
They need to be checked in game.
* Battle points - Who has and how many. Alexandros' bp's should be correct but I'm not sure about the others.
* Players activity in the Council Sessions.
EDIT: While I'm doing these last changes in the new library I realized that Arche Seleukeia have only 2 regular armies left: 1st Lydian and 1st Syrian.
EDIT2: Missing images in the Library will be added as soon as possible. Probably later today.

I could use peoples opinion concerning this new version of our Royal Library.
There are some pictures missing and other small things like that but what do you think?
If people would post their character descriptions in that thread I just created then I could link each avatar in Library to it's description in that thread.
I can't disband them because he's using them in a siege (the game won't let you disband units when besieging). They'll either be killed in this battle, or some will survive and I'll disband them after he completes the battle. If he doesn't fight, they'll probably all be killed along with him in the auto-resolve. In any case, you'll have a new unit of them coming to join your army.

Can't you just unsiege him, disband, and then re-siege him? It's against the rules for him to use them.
@Ibn: you seem to have called my army the 1st Syrian. I don't think that's entirely correct.
Otherwise, me likey.

hey, you can disband em now. I'm done with em! haha I got attacked and then steam rolled the king and the heir. both are dead. Now i'm buggered kinda because i don't have much of an army left.. well i still have an army, but we're badly understrength. I've lost an entire phalanx.
TCV hop on xfire, i have some thing's i wanna talk to you about

Can't, I'm off to the gym now. If I remember, I'll go on when I'm back.
6 battle points?! more like 3 you cant disband units in a seige durrr
plus he said he'd disband em. He never did, and I ended up having them in my latest battle.
Sarpedon better watch out. If he tries to make an example out of an old friend, he might lose him all together......

I had already punished you once before, telling you to send them back. This was when I gave you the first punishment, that is prior to any talk of disbanding them. That's when you should have sent 'em home.
Even if it hadn't been so, it would not have changed a thing. It wasn't he who made them walk away with you, was it? It was you, and you are responsible for your own actions. Remember: they should not have been in that siege in the first place.

This should be a fun battle. If Patrokles stays inside Antiocheia then Sarpedon must attack the city. This means a MP siege battle - something I have always wanted to see!
On the other hand.. If Patrokles moves out we would see a pretty interesting field battle.. kind of David against Koliath(sp?)?![]()
exactly why I am staying in the city!!!
even If I fail to take Sarpedon out, the casualties will be high. and if he is thinking about bypassing me then that would be a bad idea, I am willing to burn Antioch to the ground and move to take Sidon, then burn that to the ground. his only option is to take me out now. and retrain in Alexandria. (though when I die I don't think any rebel is active enough to take command.... which would stink)

Err, I can still starve him out, you know. I don't have to actually attack the city.
I was kind of hoping you wouldn't think of that.....

I have updated most of the Royal Library. I found out that we have 8(!) avatars without players. I also decided to kill off the avatars that are listed inactive. I also need the units that are in Aratos' Satrapies Army. I will finish Library tomorrow hopefully.
But coming back to those 8 open avatars. Should we advertise this now? We are in a very interesting period - A mayor rebellion against the Basileus. Wars against Pahlava and Epeiros.
plus TCV, what is the fun in just starving me out? it would be such an anticlimax..... and if we fight over the city I will not burn anything down, if you can take the city over fair and square in battle I wont touch the barracks.
and we should definitely advertise, us rebels in particular are dropping like flies, Iskander has some RL stuff and has to quit (Probably), and mini hasn't logged on in a long time..... this is a huge time in our history and yet no one will join.... these have been a dark couple of months for PBM's.

Tell you what: if you buy me a new graphic card and send it to me, I'll assault you as much as you want me to.
@Ibn: Yes, advertise. We need more active players.

Some of the traits that Sarpedon have that describe him and our current situation very well(and these are in-game traits!):
Proxenis under suspicion - Description says that some people think he is a traitor because he have friends in enemy nation. (Sarpedon have been very friendly towards Makedonia)
Royal State Cult Prominence - This is the best one! The King has decided to actively build up a royal state cult of Himself! (So true.. so true)
Espionage and Obsessed with Security - I really understand why these are there!
And here are some of Patrokles' traits:
Outsider - I quess rebelling against the government would make you an Outsider?
Warmonger - Well, you destroy Persian rebellion and then start your own .. no wonder you are seen as a warmonger!
So, game sometimes manages to generate traits that actually fit to the game!![]()
Wow! I've liked my traits all along, but this just trumps it all. I've been lusting for that royal cult one, because it's just so IC correct. You'd best believe it, baby: I AM a god, and I love playing one as well!

yes, sometimes the game just seems to fit perfectly to our action!
this game is so awesome, I just cant imagine why none wants to join up....
the rebels need more men!!

Hey man, I did the best I could to keep the wolves from howling for your head. At least you have a chance to defend yourself...
I'm just going to make a blitz out. and try and crush their remaining forces. then bounce back to Memphis. I still need to know which units are part of the satrapal army now, so i dont make the same mistake twice. Since I'm 2nd in command of the Satrap (i govern the only other settlement in the satrap)

but Hermokrates's traits don't really fit his actions, based on his traits, I would say he should have been a rich governor of Seleukeia (where he was before joining the rebellion) instead of being a regent over some province like Charax, waiting for something good to happen to him.
edit: I just noticed, what happened to my 6 battle points? do I lose all on becoming a rebel?
Last edited by everyone; 05-25-2009 at 12:25.
as soon as we are done dying I promise you can be the rich regent of Selukeia. but right now we have this problem with a huge army charging towards us, and you just happen to be in one of the safest places in the entire kingdom.... Lucky B@$!@&D
