I'm a huge, nigh unkillable monster... yay? Oh well, I win anyway. Thought I probably had a role like this, since my one goal was to not die...

You did well, foraging and everything... participating enough. You would have been a normal and useful townie if the Agent had died or escaped.

Hmm, to me the setup seemed to be contra town. Too many options and unclear victory conditions, the possibility to flee severly hurt the rest of the town. Also SK, Agent, Zombies against town that hurt itself doesn´t seem balanced, but since this is a horror scenario it´s OK. A few townies survived and the story can continue, just like resident evil...

The town needed to lynch the SK. After that, they needed to escape, and the town was very close to doing so. It was simply a matter of being organized and having a clear will to do so. But that is the flaw of every single townie group. It's no different in any other mafia game where the town greatly outnumbers the anti-townies, but they have no unity.

Admittedly I left a couple things vague, but many people had the right idea: you needed to escape to win. It was just a matter of making sure the horde was disabled before you did so.

Apologies to anyone if that made it harder on the town. Any Resident Evil game I host will be difficult for the town to win outright, and the difficulty and tension was designed to make every player feel totally doomed, though victory was absolutely possible and they were close to it. It's part of the ambience of the game to feel lost and vulnerable.

I think the fact that two townies escaped, and the town got beefy enough to damage the horde and some were planning to do so, is a testament to how close you came. Well played... just not quite enough.

Admittedly, I thought YLC was agent early on (same way I did with Ichigo in Swords of the Moon), but I suffered "I got deaded first round so screw this" syndrome (especially when "discussing with pevergreen" = "getting ignored, receiving random nonsense and he did his own thing") other than a couple of posts where I posted just for fun.

    Congratulations though, you did good.

Beskar- Admittedly I was a little dismayed by pevergreen's enthusiasm. Fortunately for the game's sake, others stepped in.

CDF- Indeed your character wanted to save the town itself, by destroying the evil (Axe man). However, escaping was also an option, a necessary one, as indicated by the PM. Perhaps could have been clearer. Apologies for any confusion.

then why did my win condition say to try and stick around? I assumed that the town could win through means other than escaping..... it was still a great game though, win condition or not.

However, you think you're being followed by the Umbrella Agent, and you've decided to go with the alias "Veronica Orleans" to avoid being detected. You're hiding in a logging village close to the Canadian border, and you're posing as one of the villagers. You claim your occupation is "carpenter".

However, the experience from Raccoon City has made you tough and experienced. You have slightly better defense and foraging ability than the basic villager, and more item slots.

As a State Senator, you were made fully aware of the situation at Raccoon City, and you fully expect that any survivors from that outbreak of the T-Virus would make their way here. Your clout as a political leader allows you to sway the people to your point of view.

But that seems to be a pipe dream. For now, you're poor and you have no way out of this sleepy little town. You wish something exciting would happen. In your free time you like to hunt and also play paintball in the woods with your friends, so you're pretty fair in a fire fight. It just so happens you're carrying some ammo on you.

Then you need to get the hell out of there! Fortunately you came armed and dangerous. You even dispatched that pesky FBI agent who was following you. Sucks to be him.

    Special Ability: DNA decoder

So close, and yet so far. You found the Umbrella Agent but the suspect killed you. Your body was infected by parasites from the birds circling above... who started to eat your body before it began to rot.

Now, your body is under the control of the Las Plagas... the birds from Raccoon city must have been infested with them and they migrated away when there were no more bodies to pick clean. Now you, like Toyoda Guzman before you, are transformed by hunger and hatred... and desire... and that is all that is left of you. Your body craves human flesh... because the Plague parasites inside your body have taken hold of your mind... and now you have an overpowering urge to find other human beings and spread the organisms to other host bodies, and also... to eat.

    Attack- 5
    Defense- 5
    Forage- 1
    Escape- 1

    HP- N/A (you're dead)

Items- N/A (zombies don't use items)

Mission Objective: Feed on the humans and spread your brethren.

You can turn the dead into regular zombies, who then join the Zombie Horde.

You can communicate with the other zombies via PM or with a quicktopic. For now you're the only zombie.

You can stage an attack on the town during the day and also at night. During the day, the townies must have a sufficient number manning the guard post or else you will be able to break inside and eat them. During the day, you can only eat one.

At night it will be more difficult to get at them, because all of the townies will be inside manning the barricade, unless they get brave and try to fight you or escape.

If you break through the barricade at night, and the townies fail to stop the assault, you destroy them ALL.

Turn all the living into zombies, or break through the barricade and eat all the humans inside. Those are your mission objectives.

You will be slightly more powerful at night. But not by much.

    Roleplaying:

Feel free to act like a zombie. Just don't spam the thread too much...

    Day Actions:

Attack someone foraging (choose who to attack)
Attack the Guard post (choose who to attack)

    Night Actions:

    Attack the Barricade (attacks everyone)

You can of course choose to abstain from attacking. Nothing will kill you, so don't be shy.
When people died they got a standard zombie role PM. Most of the zombies had a base stat of 2 attack and 4 defense. By the very end I was late to send them out to a couple players but the game was basically over anyway, and all actions went through pevergreen or whatever player was sending me actions.
