Some pictures from the trip to France.

First part: Alsace
We mainly stayed in Strasbourg and Colmar and visited some villages in the area (Obernai, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Eguisheim). On the way south through the Vosges we passed Murbach, Haut-Koenigsburg and the Grand Ballon.

Second part: To Bourgogne/Jura, along the Rhone, to the Ardeche.

Traveling from Belfort to Baume-les-Messieurs, via Bourg-en-Bresse to Montelimar, along the Gorges de l'Ardèche and then via Thueyts to le Puy-en-Velay.

Saint Michel d'Aiguilhe at Le Puy-en-Venlay - a rather impressive sight (the two pics before the that picture are BTW taken outside and inside the chapel)

Third part: "La Côte" - from Beaune to Dijon visiting some of the "wine villages" in between (Aloxe-Corton, Nuits-St-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée)
