I had a Makedonian game that lasted until about 216, then it started crashing nonstop. It seems to have randomly fixed itself, and I still have the save, but I've moved onto a Getai game. So, I get to like 263 or something like that. The game started crashing when I ended the turn. It was on the roman turn, so with process_cq and add_population, I was able to avoid the crash. The Roman's decided it would be a good idea to leave Patavium without a garrison, so it was rebelling and causing a crash.
My question is, why does my game crash so often now? I've never experienced any crashes, besides the random ending battle ones, until my Makedonian game. Then I start a new game, and I almost immediately get the same type of crash, less than ten years into the game. I know it's due to the rebellion, but it seems more than coincidental that it'd happen the same way in two consecutive saved games. In my makedonian game, the KH, Eperios and the Arvernii were wiped out, and I guess that can cause crashes when a town tries to rebel to one of those factions, but on my getai game, I was less than ten years in. No one was wiped out. It doesn't make any sense to me.
