    Exactly!

I'd love to hear what the world's interpretation of a British accent actually is! I get the feeling it's going to be Recieved Pronunciation, don't you?

    Also, sorry Pizza.

Ohh listen to Mr I never post off topic irrelevant stuff to take the towns focus away.

And yes Secura, I believe it is Recieved Pronunciation they have in mind.

no i understand the difference i have cousins in wales and have spent time there.

that said they all sound lovely to an ignorant american such as myself.

but yes received pronunciation is the imagined accent. I do like a scottish or melodic welsh accent myself though

edit i assume many of you havent turned in night orders

I worry that by pointing out that people haven't sent in orders, a clue is being given as to who has night action abilities.

oh ****, thanks for reminding me pizza

I'll have ATPG baked tonight, don't be tight on the tomato puree and i want plenty of pepperoni, then cut a slice out of him and eat, as all good pizza infused cannibalistic-targeted foods should be consumed within 12 minutes of preparation, naturally.

    That's my point.

We obviously know that myself and Renata and john and.... etc, all are paying attention to the thread, know it is night phase, and have had a chance to send in orders.

Then, we have people I haven't heard from in a while as the more likely candidates. So, that's too much information. Better is to simply say you have to extend the round for personal reasons.

That is, if I might offer input here, my lord.

Alternatively, you could opt not to extend the round at all; if they haven't sent their orders in, so be it.

I just dislike people signing up (thus committing themselves to the game) and then refraining from posting/sending in orders... don't want to ruffle any feathers by saying that, just my two cents. :<

You could argue that the entire reason I won Noblesse Oblige was because the three Selecao remaining (Cent, taka and Sprig) all forgot to process their night orders. I'm happy I won, yes, but it would have been better had I overcome them honestly rather than simply winning by exploting that failure to act.

No insult intended, just wanted to poke people into sending their orders or post more. There's no real merit in winning a game by remaining silent the entire way through. That sucks.

    Night 1 End

Balthazar readied his bow, The Enchanted arrow sizzling and crackling on the bow string.
Revenge was going to be the elves! Was Balthzar’s only thought. He raised the bow towards the Bar, Waiting in silence for the orc party he had watch enter leave. A figure stepped out from around the bar, heading from the town cemetery. Balthazar was perplexed, and moved his bow to point towards this new target. The figure moved quickly, obvious intent on returning somewhere.

Well, this orc is not going anywhere! The elf thought grimly For only a bloodthirsty orc would be about at this time of night. (Irrational thinking FTW!) He held his breath, and aimed just above the targets head. The arrow whistled towards the target, the 60ft disappearing in an instant. It slammed into the Figured throat, causing him to howl in pain.

But Balthazar had a look of terror on his face. When the arrow had hit, the figures cloak had raised…… Balthazar then knew his folly. Even in the dark He could recognize the face of his master, Orion. He ran towards the downed figure, Tears swelling in his eyes as he threw down his bow and arrows.

Orion was near death, the arrow having blasted and then seared a hole into his windpipe. He wheezed, obviously in extreme agony. Balthazar held his masters head, pleading that he was so sorry, and that Orion could not die.

“Master….. No…. I couldn’t have. Please…. You can’t die.” His tears dripped down his long nose. Orion hacked a glob of blood His breath becoming shorter and shallower
“Don’t…… worry….. Balthazar…. It’s our way. Life…. ends in death. Keep fighting….” Orion died in Balthazar’s arms. The old elf went to his death smiling.

Orion the Elven Druid has been Killed (Double A)

Balthazar waited in the road cradling his master for some time. His eyes were distant, and he sobbed slightly. Broken, so broken that he did not notice the man walking up from behind.

“Silly little elf.” Reenkis laughed, licking a large claw on his left hand. “You need to be FAR more careful where you point your little bow. But hey, no worries. I am willing to put you out of your misery right here and now! But before I do, there’s one thing I want you to know first. I did not kill your other elf friend.” Reenkis Grinned widely “That was the orcs of this town. I have to admit. I respect them for that, Very conniving. But your squabbles mean little to me. I am here for one person above all. And he is not you.”

Reenkis Pulled a Trident from his spiked back, admiring the wicked things points. His Face beamed, his black scales shimmering in the moonlight. He punched out with the trident, and Balthazar did not even groan, simply smiling sadly. A single tear fell from his eye.

Reenkis glared at the elf “No screams? Fine, Ruin my fun.” He shimmered and dissapered, leaving the Trident lodged in the elfs back.

Balthazar knelt there, the wound turning black and charring as the trident worked its magic. Still he did not scream.

“Times are changing.” He said flatly, and The Trident sent a Black wave of flame blossoming from the wound, Burning Balthazar to nothingness.

I think I'll begin the day with a nice juicy vote on Thermal Mercury, whose vote for me in the midst of Centurion vs No-Lynch looks plausibly like avoidant behavior, and who replied with this when Secura questioned the vote (referring to me as either a brave townie or a stupid mafia, heh):

Your probably right, it was just a vote based on what I saw, I certainly didn't see Renata to be under a large amount of pressure so it couldn't harm to apply some. It probably looks like I was sticking up for centurion a little to much (I don't want this to bite me later in the game) so just to clarify, I don't stick up for his suicide vote, if he is innocent hes being a bad townie right now.
Why so concerned for what other people think of you later? And why ingratiate yourself with Secura without changing your vote accordingly?

Because only a foolish mafia would draw attention to themselves by deviating from no lynch; therefore, I guessed that you were a townie looking to stir up some more voting. I felt that someone voting for you didn't make sense, and thus took Thermal to task for doing so.

Renata didn't really need to be placed under any sort of pressure; to the contrary, anyone who voted for her would have stuck out like a sore thumb for leaping upon such an 'easy' target and fallen under pressure themselves.

I'm going to stick by my vote from the previous round, and thus I vote: Thermal Mercury.

I don't really have much to go on, but my suspicion is somewhat on Secura, because that was the last person centurion1 had suspicion of. However, I think the vote switcher may well not be among those who voted for centurion1, because switching the vote to get what they wanted done kept their name off the record there. Therefore, I'm going to start off by saying vote:AVSM

I think the last person he gave the finger of suspicion to was actually Renata, but it's swings and roundabouts, really. Barking entirely up the wrong tree.

His suspicion was essentially founded upon the fact that I voted for him after what appeared to be a scumtell; a mafia role-claiming to attempt to keep himself alive until the night phase. The other perspective was that he was simply a very foolish townsperson. Would you have taken the chance that he was simply a townie after such a public claim?

I chose not to, and while I regret that Cent was a townie, I do not regret the logic behind the vote on him, as I'm sure others would attest to also.

    Mmmmhmmm. C'est intéressant.

I'm curious as to what this gut feeling of yours is based upon and why there should be a 'big bandwagon' on AVSM; there's much sounder reasoning behind the votes of Thermal Mercury, really.

"gut feelings" can't be explained.....but I am right almost 80% of the time

TH is acting scummy....but I would rather have two suspects up there then just one...it might make one of them "crack" and reveal
