Tips on how to attract a girl

Keep your distance, don't be "over-keen", girls don't like that stuff, especially as people who are 'keen' get really creepy stalker-wise. My view on this is basically keep your distance, as in allowing the girl to make most of the 'first steps' in text messaging and other things, as they love the replies, also, when you text/phone/invite out of the blue, it is "special".

The men are always doing the chasing. It is funny you imply otherwise as I seen them chasing you and you just go "la la la la" twisting them around your finger.

I reminds me of that guy who was after you and these other girls, and he kept inviting you over for "Rockband"/"Lips"/etc and comments to me "You wondered why I have those games? It brings the girls to the yard". Chased all those girls, and he got none of them.

(edit: He was just after one of them though for you forumers.)

So in short, attract the girls sure, but don't pamper them, or you are the girls "friend" and they just use you.

Hey, nothing wrong with being their friend. I have a great friendship with this girl.

Some girls can be very agressive, not a one night stand type, but it's always me being aproached if it happens. Not really the same thing I know, but my sis for example campaigned for months for that sloth of a husband of hers

Yeah, if you are getting approached, you will not be asking for dating/girl advice on a web-forum.

Hey, you made it personal, no fair! I may have done that in the past, but that was years ago! :P

Men are supposed to do the chasing anyway; when ladies do it, we look clingy (and who likes that?) and it just encourages that "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" mentality that, at least from this lady's perspective, is bloody annoying! I'm not saying that guys have to be all traditional courting, no sexy time until third dates or whatever else, just that it shouldn't be left to the woman to do the work to make things happen.

I have heard strong rumours to the contrary about that young gentleman, but for the most part you're right; Rock Band is awesome and should be the ticket to all women's hearts, in my opinion:

Girl: "Forget that, let's beat Enter Sandman on Expert!"

I didn't mean that. I am not saying for you to sit around, in a short, men need to adopt the "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen", because more and more often this isn't the case. What happens is, the girl just goes "oh, it's another text message.

While this isn't my own wording, I remember some one saying: "If the main difference between a really good friendship and a really good relationship is that you have sex in a relationship, you need to give a reason for there sex to occur." by this, if you pamper the girl constantly, what reason in the theory, would she need to have sex with you for? She is going to get this pampering anyway, might as well go with some one else. However, if they only get this pampering while they are in a relationship with you, then there is a reason for them to have sex with you. While this statement will give me -10 points with every female on the forum, but there is some truth to it. If you pamper the female you are interested in, and they don't return anything, it is a seriously case of the "friend-zone", I would recommend stop pampering them, and begin actually hitting on other females. This will make the female you was interested in, miss the love and support, and they begin to feel jealous and then they 'realise' they love you, and thus might initiate steps. Obviously, don't fly into their arms so they go "oh, nevermind, we are just friends". So even if you are a nice-guy, don't be 'over-friendly'.

This sort of falls short when it comes to those American-esque you been friends since 5 and now 20 romance movies. But because in the real-life is none existant, we will dismiss that.

Indeed, great idea by him, he didn't do the execution to woe you into his heart, otherwise you would be dating that "young gentleman".

This annoys me just as much as it does you.

I could go about saying about males in dating advice for women, but the contrasts are really amusing. Such as "Well ladies, there is one thing a guy sees in you, and that is for a romantic relationship that is greatly inspired around concept of Sex". but alas...
